Perfection in food storage
I have two other Sistema food storage items and they are fantastic. This one is large enough for storing cereal which is great since I tend to ruin the bags the cereal comes in when first opening. It keeps the food fresh, it is super easy to clean, and I love the contoured grip which makes pouring the cereal super easy and mess free.

Fantastic!
• BPA and Phthalate Free • I was unable to find or verify this in competing products. It’s the reason I bought these at a somewhat higher price point than others. I’d never heard of the brand before, but I’m very pleased with the purchase. I’ll be buying more in the future to replace the rest of my plastic food storage containers. • Perfect for meal prep • I love that they’re boxy and easy to stack in the fridge. They keep a great seal. I use them for everything; chopped veggies, washed fruit, dinner leftovers, even for proofing sourdough with the sealing gasket removed (love that it’s removable!). • Durable • They were less rigid than I’d expected, but I’ve had zero issues with warping or cracking. I use them daily. They’re high quality and easy to wash. Highly recommend!

Works Well
Great quality and airtight seal works. I actually use this to store cigars, and it’s perfect for that.

Looking for a tupperdor? It's not here keep looking and avoid
If you use or are looking for a tupperdor and use mantello cedar trays this is for you: They recently changed the shape and they're not as long as they once were; thus the cedar tray(s) do *NOT* sit flush nor sit at the bottom. Thry get stuck halfway and "float". What was once a great and highly recommended product can no longer be. Spend your money elsewhere and avoid sistema. In photo sistema in white is new, sistema pressed into plastic is old

Quality storage, annoying lid
Overall seems like quality storage. I appreciate the size of the container. However, the lid is proving more annoying than I’d like. First, getting the lid to sit firmly and properly requires a bit extra maneuvering to make sure it aligns perfectly, and then need to press down a bit to make sure it seals. This leads to the next annoying part which is the snap ons. They require a decent amount of pressure to snap, or sometimes don’t snap because the lid isn’t pushed down enough (see first issue). Then consider this is a plastic container, when trying to push the snaps closed the container pushes in because it’s plastic. If the container were glass or something less flexible I’d feel more comfortable with the amount of pressure I need to put to snap the closures on. But still goes back to the lid is a bit annoying just to sit it properly. On the whole it seems like a quality container. But it’s frustrating dealing with the lid, so I would not purchase again nor do I think I could recommend it. But for my purposes, I primarily got to store stuff in the freezer so hopefully I won’t need to deal with the lid as often. But despite the great size and wanting to use for more frequent refrigerator access, I doubt I’ll use for this, because I don’t want to deal with the lid as much.

New design with the same old problems
I generally like the redesign of these "v2" of the standard Klip it containers. Moving the sealing surface to the side instead of the top surface will hopefully address the variability in sealing pressure seen in the original version caused by manufacturing tolerance variation / stack up. For the set I received, the seal is definitely tighter, to the point of having to really push on the top to get it fit on the container. Unfortunately, the new design doesn't solve two outstanding issues. 1) The containers are not water / liquid tight. If the container ends up on its side or upside down, liquid will seep around the seal and leak out. 2) The plastic material used melts too easily. While the containers are microwave and dishwasher safe, they melt easily if grease or oil gets too hot during reheating. If you aren't careful, the bottom of the container will become pock marked with small areas where the plastic melted. These areas then capture food residue making them hard to clean or left over dish soap which would then contaminate any food put in them. Nice containers, but they definitely will wear out if you use them in the microwave.
