Lifesaver During the Weaning Process
This Frida Mom Weaning Massage Stick was a total game-changer for me while I was transitioning out of breastfeeding. It’s specifically designed to help relieve discomfort and prevent clogged ducts as your milk supply slows down — and it really works! The shape makes it easy to use, and I love that you can warm or chill it depending on what you need. I used it cold when I felt engorged and warm during showers to ease the pressure — both felt amazing and helped reduce swelling. It’s compact, easy to clean, and so much more convenient than trying to use your hands or random tools. Highly recommend for any mama ready to wean — it made a tough stage so much more manageable and less painful.

Very helpful
I love the smell ! It's a very gentle smell. I found if I sit and massage my breast with this about 5-10 minutes before I pump, it helps increase my pump amount. It's not going to wildly increase the milk supply but it does help. At first I didn't think it was doing much, but after 1 week I noticed how much it actually helps. It gives me 1-2 more ounces each time I use it before I pump. At first it'll feel kinda silly using this but after awhile you get used to it. It like a nice deep tissue massage for your breast. I lay on my back and start at the bottom/ underneath part of my breast and make may way around. For reference I am a 40J, so there is a lot of area to cover, which is why I lay back. I don't do it every pump but I at least use it for 1-3 pumps a day.

I like it
I was looking for a massager to help my flow while pumping. I typically use my hands but wanted something a little easier and something I could use one-handed if I’m nursing or doing manual pumping. I bought this because it was one of the cheaper options than other massagers I’d seen. It actually works. I swipe it from the base of my breast to about half an inch away from the nipple. I noticed that I start getting the milk bubbling pretty much right after a few swipes. The smell is amazing and my baby hasn’t shown any dislike for it (yet). It kind of rolls on like a slick deodorant. My only complaint is that it leaves your skin a little sticky/ too moisturized to do a hand massage or compression afterward.

Doesn’t help with my supply
Pros: smells nice, glides on easy, doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin Cons: makes no difference with my supply

Weaning stick works well
I was worried it may not work since it isn’t actual cabbage leaves but it helped after second day using it. I work 12 hour shifts and I used to pump 2x a shift, sometimes once. Now my baby has turned 1 and I want to wean. It feels very soothing and cooling when you apply it (I recommend applying to nipple too as long as you won’t be nursing directly after because that’s what I did on second day and it really worked well). I was able to go 12 hours and not feel uncomfortable like I did on the first day of trying to not pump and just applying to breast tissue. So 10/10 apply it on the nipple as well if you want to wean. It works and is very convenient so you don’t have to carry a cabbage with you to work haha

Didn’t work for me
Most Frida mom products become holy grail, but unfortunately not this one! Maybe it needs to be used with younger babies, but I BF for “too long” (depending on who you ask, I guess. I was ready to be done!) and my 2 year old would help me put this on and then (I told her I had a boo boo and it was medicine) and would still try to nurse after every time.

NOT for sensitive skin!!!
Gave me a terrible rash to the point where my skin was so itchy it bled from me scratching so much. I had to use a steroid cream to help it heal and it took over a week. Definitely DO NOT try this if you have sensitive skin!!!

Did the opposite for my milk and gave me cracked nipples for the first time since I started breastfeeding and pumping. It caused so much pain. Just use a lotion and massage your breasts. This does nothing to improve your supply.
