A brilliantly laid out book by a reputable publisher. Just what you need if you are a spotter and travelling in the med. My partner was very happy with it and it was very useful.

A larger sized book, to big for a pocket, but fits in a nap-sack or satchel nicely. Thin and light, it has beautiful photographs, a limited but informative description, and a distribution map for each species described.I'm happy i bought it.

Great photos, descriptive and has all the data about migratory habits that i was looking for. Living on Crete i expect to see a large number of birds in the Spring and Autumn moving through. Small and light to pop in your day pack and I keep it next to my bino's overlooking my garden.

Copiously ilustrated with minimal text, this attractive book covers all the birds commonly seen in the Mediterranean. We got it for our Greek Island holiday and it served us very well. I guess it's more suited for those with a general interest in birdlife rather than expert ornithologists, but it's none the worse for that approach.

Wonderful book with great photos. I keep it in the car and use it most times we drive out for walks and picnics etc..very informative and helps in recognising similar birds which I would not have known otherwise.
