Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa (Herbal Formula) Cough Syrup, 300ml

This cough syrup is absolutely brilliant. It soothes the throat almost instantly and really helps calm coughing and irritation. The taste is surprisingly pleasant for a herbal remedy, and it feels gentle yet effective. I love that it’s a traditional herbal formula rather than something harsh or chemical. I’ve found it works especially well for sore throats and dry coughs. Definitely one of the best cough remedies I’ve used – highly recommend.

This herbal formula cough mixture is brilliant. It tastes delicious, but really helps with a cough, and I feel stops infection from setting in. The ingredients are all listed and explained which helps a lot. I would highly recommend this product.

I had a bad cough for 8 days, it got better at the start of the cough, then got worse, especially at night. the only way to reduce it was to open the windows or pop my head out of the window until the coughing stopped. I had to leave all the windows open during the night, to enable me to sleep at all. I was unable to sleep lying down, I had to sit up to get just half hour's sleep, here and there. Since I was not coughing up flem, I could not get anti biotics, finally managed to see get a face to face appointment with my GP, he checked everything all was fine, confirmed it was a viral cough, and there was nothing he could given me, I just has to endure the cough until it eventually goes. GP could tell I had coughed alot which made me very unwell. So much coughing put me off my food (just eating the evening meal per day). It also gave me a swollen stomach, the sore throat worsened, sleep deprivation made me fatigued in the day time. After taking 2 doses of the syrup, by the next morning, the number of coughing episodes had reduce, I managed to get 6 hours of sleep in one night, where in the previous 3 nights I just about managed to get 6 hours sleep. I was able to lie down in bed and my coughing episodes reduced. It's my 4th day of taking this medicine, for me I would say it is definitely working well. For me, it looks like treacle and has the same consistency, it has a strong taste of cherry but quite pleasent. I paid £7.88 for a family size bottle of 300 ml, 5 days ago. I have just ordered another order, this time it cost £7.49. But tonight the 300 ml bottle has gone down again to £7.25. I would say it is good value for the 300 ml size bottle. There is a smaller bottle of 150 ml for similar cost - just make sure you order the larger bottle before you put your order through. It worked really quickly for me, it is the only syrup that worked, I would highly recommend it.

This cough syrup works really well, tastes quite nice too. Takes a bit of getting used to as is very thick but this I feel helps as it coats you throat.

I have relied on alot of cough syrups throughout the years. I saw this from a an online review. I just got sick and within 2 days, my cough has calmed down, my chest has become clearer. The taste is better than other cough syrups. I have the lozenges too which also help on days I need to hydrate my throat. This is now my go too for a chesty cough. Also there is no alcohol and alot of the cough syrups contain some percentage of alcohol.

I’m not someone who usually takes the time to leave reviews, but I genuinely had to share this. This is hands down the best cough syrup I’ve ever used in my entire life. The relief was almost magical after just one dose. Of course, I’ll continue taking it for the next couple of days as recommended, but the difference was immediate. This will definitely become a staple in my medicine cupboard.
