Really clears the nozzle. Plan to use it once a month as routine maintenance. Have used with stock Ender 5 Plus and Bambo Lab X1c 0.4 hotends. I highly recommend it.

I use these every time I change from PLA to PETG and back. Works great. It has reduced clogging.

Doesn't help in any way better pla and it is working. The little sticks just got caught , and then gunged up a little higher then wanted in the hotend. It took bit to scrap but the last of the few colors from the past pretty sure stuck throughout it and will probly helped in long run thank you.

I've been using cheaper spooled cleaning filament. I like this better. The sticks are basically 1-time use, but they're long enough to be useful. One of my printers need about 50mm just to get to the hot end, the other needs about 100mm (longer extruder path). For bowden you'll need less, but either way you'll be feeding directly into the extruder or hotend assembly.This cleaning filament is clearly of a better quality. The extrusion is very consistent, and my finicky extruders love it. It's delivered and stored perfectly straight, so I don't have to worry about kinks or anything on the way through. The material itself is similar to / identical to the "other" stuff I use -- it gets very soft but not drippy, which means it does a great job of grabbing anything in the melt chamber and dragging it back out. A 150mm stick seems to be plenty of room for me to put it into my hot end, blast all the way out the nozzle a few times, then let it cool and pull the rest out the back.Cheaper spooled material works well, but the extrusion is NOT consistent so it has to be hand-fed, and will variously either jam in the extruder (too tight) or fail to extrude (too loose) because of the variable diameter.

New to 3D printers and made the jump from PLA to TPU after making some upgrades to my Ender 3 Pro (full metal hot end, direct drive extruder, CR touch bed leveling kit, upgraded firmware). After running TPU on a brand new nozzle, switching back to PLA worked fine. But as soon as I tried to switch back to TPU, nozzle clog and TPU spaghetti. Replaced the nozzle, ran some more TPU prints, swap to PLA, back to TPU… more spaghetti and clogged nozzle. Found this product and decided to give it a try. Since I’ve started using it, I have had ZERO issues with jamming after switching between filaments. I was skeptical at first, but this stuff really does work!

I guess I am pretty new to 3D printing & I thought you could just feed a stick of this through the hot end and the filament behind it would push it thru. Boy was I wrong. My Anycubic Vyper only goes up to 260, which is not hot enough to melt this stuff. It jammed in the bowden tube and then essentially glued the brass nozzle in place. As you can see in the pic, the nozzle broke off in the hotend when I tried to take it out.DO NOT DO WHAT I DID

Meine Düse ist verdreckt. Vor allem durch billiges PLA, das ich ausprobiert habe. (Ja selber Schuld)Also habe ich dieses Reinigungsfilament gleich mal getestet.Ich habe mehrere Stücke durchgedrückt. Das ging nur geringfügig besser als das normale PLA und hakte ebenfalls ständig. Die Reinigungswirkung war gleich Null.Auch nicht nach Ausbau der Düse, erhitzen und das Reinigungs-Filament manuell durchschieben.Netter Versuch, aber ich werde die Düse wohl ausbauen und von Hand reinigen müssen.

Sirvió perfectamente para destapar un nozzle semi tapado, no es pla comun, parece ser entre tpu y pla. Usé sólo 2 tiras y se destapó muy bien, el paquete trae 50 tiras así que de pelos.

Practico, sencillo y fácil de aplicar este filamento de limpieza
