Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colour, 6.75-oz (200ml), Titanium White

Arrived in perfect condition, smells as an oil paint should smell, spreads and covers the canvas nicely when using linseed oil, and sticks great to the canvas. Just make sure to let oil paint dry properly before touching or it'll smudge. The quality is very good and blends with other oil paints without any issue. The color is exactly what it should be.

For those who don’t like oils but like the feel of oil try this! It’s similar to acrylic but stays wet for a couple of days. Great for portrait paintings

I prefer water soluble oil paints to oil paints due to the faster cleanup, and I think they dry a bit faster (did not use paint medium though). I am a procrastinator and this came in very handy for class deadlines. Nice warm toned paint, will use again in the future. It did come in a bag package thing though and I worry that other paints could get squashed during delivery if this kind of package is placed under heavier objects.

I have been using "Winsor & Newton Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colours" and they work great. They are none toxic, easy to clean up and seam to have a lot of pigment, however, I have never conducted a side by side comparison with other brands of oil paints. So, there maybe better paints, but these are pretty good and I have no complaints.

Winsor & Newton Water Miscible Oils work great if you've never used regular oils before. They don't have the same creaminess as regular oils. Being able to clean brushes with water is a great plus and eliminates all the toxic fumes from turp. The colors have all worked fine. I use the thinner to thin paints and never use water. The water thinned paint doesn't dry adequately and leaves the paint film sticky even after a week of drying. The thinner works well although I don't enjoy the odor from it.

The first tube sent was dried out, but Amazon replaced it with a new tube. That was wonderful.

Water mixable oils are wonderful. They mix well, no smell and perform just like oil paint. I used oil paints for many years. Then I was renting a small studio apartment. The smell of regular oil paint was overwhelming in a small space. I tried these and am so pleased. They feel like oil paint, look like oil paint. . All the benefits with no toxins. I do use a water mixable medium with them . But cleanup with water, and brushes clean with a little bit of soap if you need it.

I like it for plein air painting as its easy to clean up and very similar to regular oils.
