Great intro
This book is a great intro to Psychology and covers the bulk of main concepts in the subject. Very useful for those, who are interest in Psychology as a general topic and probably students, who are considering studying the subjects at A levels or at uni. Can also act as a useful quick reference for those, who are already well familiar with the subject. Very good.

A brilliant, concise introduction to psychology.
This is an exciting and intellectually stimulating guide to psychology. After an excellent brief introduction to the history of psychology there are chapters on 'The Philosophical Roots'; 'Behaviourism'; 'Psychotherapy'; 'Cognitive Psychology'; 'Social Psychology'; 'Developmental Psychology' & 'Psychology of Difference'. 'The Little Book of Psychology'(a compact version of 'The Psychology Book') is a well- designed, jargon-free guide to a fascinating subject which should appeal to the general reader as well as students of psychology.

A well organised and informative book.
I have studied psychology and I devour any book about the subject that I can get my hands on. This book is very good and very appealing. I think anyone would find this book a good read, whether fully into the subject of psychology or not. Every superstar in the field of psychology is included from Pavlov, Freud, Jung, Maslow, Milgram, Chomsky, Eysenck to Zimbardo and many more in between. This book looks at the roots of psychology, behaviourism, psychotherapy, cognitive psychology, social psychology, developmental psychology and psychology of difference. Each section has two or more pages dedicated to each eminent psychologist, their theory, practice, research, personal live's, methods and publications. A lot is packed into these pages and it is easy to understand and not too scientifically written to put people off reading it. It would certainly make anyone aware and understand each theory and those great psychologists who were implicated. I am especially interested in Stanley Milgram's experiment as I studied this as part of my OU course.

A little book with much in it
This is a little book, with a small font size. It describes a lot of basic psychology very well. It's a good summary of psychology. It achieves its small size by shrinking the text. This is a good summary of psychology but whether you'd like it or not would depend on whether you like the small font. If you got it on kindle this wouldn't matter.
