These worked fine for months
These worked fine for months. They are made of thin material but they got the job done for the price. A couple weeks ago I noticed that the color of the bag had started to fade. I thought it was just fading until I noticed it was rubbing off onto my sandwich bread. Since I purchased these as a safer alternative to disposable plastic bags, it was quite concerning that the fabric dye was getting onto my food.

Great bags but stain easily and customer service is a joke
I nought these bags for my kids when they started taking lunch to school. I loved them - they were cute and durable. Then we used them the first day and they stained from gold fish crackers of all things. I washed them multiple times and the stain remained. So I tried contacting the seller via email on Amazon- no reply! I tried emailing them at the email on a card included with the product. They replied and told me to try washing them. Ummm...who would email saying something was stained if they hadn't tried washing it. I reply that yes I have of course washed them multiple times. The seller says oh try soaking it. Seriously I know how to clean things. I am a mom - I do many loads of laundry a week. It became abundantly clear they were not interested in assisting me. So bottom line - the bags are great but they may stain and if you have an issue don't expect the seller to offer any real assistance.

At first, they're ideal... but after only a couple of months use...
I bought these bags for my daughter at Christmas. She's a nurse, & I wanted something reusable, safe, and convenient, and she absolutely LOVED them. I loved that they were dishwasher safe, safe for the environment, and easy for her! But... it's now March 8, so it's been barely over two months, and the foil that coats the inside of the bag is already all cracked and broken! So, where does that foil go? In her food? My daughter doesn't work every day, nor does she use the same bags every day. When I first showed her, she couldn't see it. I happened to see it in the daytime, and realized, you had to look with the bottom of the bag facing the light, and then it was plain and obvious to see the crease of foil at the bottom of the bag was completely broken across the bottom. Ironically, we had recently questioned whether the outside of the bag was stained, but decided it was part of the color design, but once we saw that it was cracked at the bottom we realized the food had leaked through the foil to the outside cover! Plus, one other small thing I'd noticed - before I noticed the deteriorating foil liner... the zipper is very tarnished and looks junky. I was willing to let that go, since it doesn't touch the food, and unless it got rusty or worse, that wasn't a big deal. But the foil liner, disintegrating into my daughter's food?! No... the whole point of these bags is that they're better and safer. That's not the case if the food is being contaminated with the foil inside the bag. Plus, once that liner breaks apart, the food leaks through to the cloth exterior of the bag. They can't be used anymore, so we got TWO months out of them, and now I have to throw them away?? Also, don't say they're dishwasher safe, if they're not. At the same time I bought these, I also bought my daughter the silicone pouches, and so far, we haven't had any issue with them, they're great!

I like these bags
I like these bags, but after the second use they became stained with what was previously in it and they smell like old food. Cleaning them is a bit of a chore. I don't run my dishwasher everyday so cleaning them by hand kind of sucks and never really gets the smell of yesterdays lunch out. Also if you put anything in them like cookies they become soft almost like a stale cookie.

YUCK. Falling apart and not airtight
First of all, I ordered the black, and was sent the green. I kept them rather than dealing with the exchange hassle. But more disappointing, these don’t seal tight cause it’s just a zipper so food goes stale quickly. I wasn’t sure how cleanable the inside would be so I only used them for dry things like chips. Somehow they are still breaking down and pieces of the inside are coming off in my food.So they aren’t good for wet foods, aren’t good for dry foods, and they don’t last. So what’s the point?? :( Very disappointing.

Reusable and Environment Saving
So no matter how many times we ask our littles not to throw away the plastic baggies from their lunch at preschool, they did, or the school made them. They never throw these away. We've been using them for a year now and they have held up very well. The kids know these don't get thrown out so they come back in their lunch, fit sandwiches and snacks easily - and aren't so big they take up any extra room. The ones with zippers are easy enough to just throw into washing machine, but the velcro versions sometimes grab other pieces of laundry while drying - so we tend to hand wash these. These can also go in dishwasher we recently realized (turn inside out, top rack)

For more than just sandwiches and snacks
I got these for an entirely different purpose: to help organize the components of a "micro stereo system" which consists of a Hidizs AP80 pro and connection/charging cords (small square bag); KB Ear KB10 IEM's (small rectangular bag); and two Sony SRS-SB12 speakers/charging cords (both large square "sandwich" bags). All these will soon fit into an [equally repurposed] Amazon Basics 15.4" felt laptop sleeve when it gets here in a few days; the headphones in the front compartment; the speakers and the digital music player in the main compartment, and the [micro SD] memory cards in the two back compartments. All I need now is a Pelican case to carry my lunch in and I'll be all set.

Zippers unreliable
After one washing, some of the zippers stuck and are hard to open/close. I like the fabric, and it's fine to keep things fresh for a few hours in a cooler but not much longer. Baby carrots dried out, crackers stale when I packed it the day before use, even kept in a cooler with ice pack.

Environmentally friendly
Good range of sizes, we use ours for sandwiches and the smaller ones for dog treats when we're out on a walk. Highly durable. Though they are suitable for dishwasher, they fold over and stay wet. Best to hand wash
