As described
No wiring instructions sent and the ones available are hard to follow. But with the use of a multimeter and trial and error was able to get to work. This is the reason for only three stars. But the switch does look nice and so far appears to do what it's supposed to do.

Great push button
This button is easy to work with. There are very small markings on the button explaining the wired but should have come with a wiring diagram for ease of the eyesight challenged (us old people). LOL

Wiring diagram for 2011 Tacoma Bed Lights
Like others, I bought this b/c of DIY videos for truck bed lighting with an LED strip. The switch I received had no wiring diagram and didn't match the colors of ChrisFix, but after studying the photos on Amazon and playing around, here's what I determined. (I put the notations from the Amazon photo in parentheses. This eventually made sense to me, but it doesn't have to. Just follow the colors.)hot/red from truck battery --- white (common)bed light (+) --- blue (normal open) and red (switch light +)bed light (-) --- black (switch light -) groundbrown (normal closed) --- nothingground to truck body(My led strip bed lights say you can switch the positive and negative, and either way works. Above is how I did it. I used 16 feet of "5630 Superbright Waterproof 300 LED Strip Light".)This corresponds to the "Program 1" in the Amazon photos. Where one wire connects to two, just solder/connect the three together. The result: switch is not depressed = no bed lights and switch is dark. Switch is depressed = bed lights are on and switch is lit up.Two weeks in, the switch is working great. Haven't tested any waterproofing. Good luck.

Looks good. Small.
Needs instructions! I added the diagram here. Keep in mind this switch is the size of a normal man's pinky. I should have gotten a 22mm for index finger size. It works well though and the light is cool looking.

It took a minute but I got it.
I got this for my 2020 Tacoma. Like I'm sure many did, they purchased this after watching a ChrisFix video where LED lights where installed on the bed. The colors of the wire are not the same as in the video. After some research and playing around, here's the wiring color set up;From Battery Red Wire to LED RedBlack LED Wire to White wire on the switchBrown Wire on the switch to one of the magnet wires. If you watch the video, you should be able to do the rest. Once I figured out what wire did what, the rest was straight forward.I like the switch and it works well. I went ahead and I covered the extra wires with electrical tape and covered that with heat shrink.

It’s lit
Fit perfectly in an existing hole in my f150. Easy access from behind the tail light made install cake. My only complaint is there was nothing to tell you what the wires were. I installed mine as follows:Black - Ground to chassisRed - to running lamp(I only want the led ring lit up if the running lights are on)Blue - black from bed light switchWhite - red from bed light switchBrown - nothing

This switch is hidden.
I wired this so the LED is non functioning. I know where the switch is and no one else needs to know where it is. It does function very well.

No installation instructions included
No installation instructions included, I had to do a lot of research to wire this to my truck bed lights. It’s very flush in the existing hole on my truck bed. Not sure I ever got it wired correctly with the lights that that I bought, it worked once but not after that. Some comments indicated can’t handle that kind of lighting without a relay. Since it’s a recommended add-on for the lighting I bought I would think there would be no problems
