If they catch the toy, the motor does not tug on it so I don't have to worry about mouths/claws getting injured. It is USB C charged (make sure to fully charge it when you first get it) So far they've played with it about 30mins straight and it doesn't show signs of slowing down yet! It has different modes (shown in photo) and has auto shut off. Best part is the motor is COMPLETELY SILENT!! 🙌 I have another brand of similar toy and it is soooo loud. That one is being donated now! Definitely worth every penny!Edit: I've had this turned on FOR DAYS and it's still going strong using the very FIRST charge!!! It's on stand-by mode and the cats play with it CONSTANTLY. I am blown away on his long this charge is lasting. And all 3 kitties love it!

This is a really good toy for cats - all three of mine are intensely interested every time I turn it on.What makes it really good is the randomness of its movements and squeaks. It moves in bith directions, goes round in a circle, starts and stops so they don't know where it is next, which keeps their attention.What it is: a center which houses the mechanism and squeaker. That is surrounded by a clover shaped, 2 layer, crinkly fabric shape. The lure goes in between the layers of fabric, whizzing about in both directions, starting, stopping, squeaking, moveing back and forth. The lure is fast, and it's tail shows in the cutout spaces of the clover. And i's very fast moving. This keeps their attention as they watch, and stalk. Yes, they stalk it like prey.The battery lasts a good while too. of course, as cat owners know, cats do get bored easily and just decide to nap or snack. But this thing gets them coming every time. I've had it about a week, and am really glad I bought it. It works well everytime I turn it on and charges in a few minutes. It is light enough for the cat to move it when they attack it and burrow under the openings to catch the lure, whicg they have actually done a few times.I've tried to attach pictures and a video with limited success. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is, hands-down, THE BEST cat toy I’ve ever purchased.My cat loves playing hide and seek tag with our hands under blankets, but that can lead to some scratched skin (even though I clip her nails); so, when I saw this, I thought it might be similar, and it is!She is obsessed with it! I’ve had it for about a week and she plays with it for several hours each day. I leave it on standby so she can play with it whenever she wants. I mainly work from home, so I always hear the toy turn on.What’s amazing is that even with it on standby and her playing with it for hours every single day, I’ve only charged it twice. I honestly can’t believe how long the battery lasts.But truly, this is a wonderfully enriching toy for a cat. It engages their hunting skills, keeps them active and enthralled, and I feel like it boosts their intelligence.It’s also amazing for pet owners with young cats who want to play all day. I love playing with her, but since I work from home, I have to get work done too. This allows me to do that. I’m sure it would be even better for people who don’t work from home and literally can’t play with their cat while they work.This toy allows them to activate it whenever they want- they just touch the center part, or jiggle the “mouse”. So, in that way it can prevent your cat from getting bored.Lastly, if you are home to watch, it leads to many laughs. I mean, I literally sit there and watch her play. It’s so amusing!I realize some cats might not respond to it as well as mine, but if your cat likes hunting, feather toys, hide n seek, or playing under the covers, I really think they will love this.A few things to mention:This has a few different modes that you shuffle through by slow pressing the power button.It goes Blue - Purple - Yellow - Off.The blue and purple modes each have 5 min continuous play until they go into standby.The yellow mode has only 30 seconds of play before going into standby.My cat, Bellatrix, mainly likes blue, and while I know blue and purple are slightly different, I don’t know how to describe the difference because they are similar. I think they just have different patterns of movement, or perhaps the purple is faster.Another thing: this does have an optional audible mouse squeezing noise. Bellatrix loves it, but I don’t have it on in the video because my partner is sleeping and I don’t want it to wake him. So, during the day, I leave the squeak on and at night I turn it off.To turn the mouse squeak on or off, press the power button twice quickly- it will blink red when it’s off and green when it’s on.The power button has a silicon cover that lifts up to reveal the usb-c port. This comes with a USB-C to USB-A cord, but no charging brick.It comes with two of the same attachment- plastic rod with the green feather and the green string.I truly can’t recommend this product enough. It’s better than the electronic mice, the electronic balls with feathers, and it’s even better than playing with a feather wand in tunnels. I do my best to give her options, but she prefers this to everything.

The toy is amazing! Our cat loves it and plays with it constantly. The mouse squeak sound isn’t the best, but it’s not all that important for the use of it. The charge time lasts a long time and she’s played pretty rough with it and it’s held up fine. It comes with an extra feather toy to change it out after wear and tear, which is helpful. It’s also completely safe for dogs, since our dog enjoys trying to play with our cat when the toy is on. We mainly use the touch activation feature, because she enjoys running into it to activate it. Overall, this is a fantastic toy! One of our best purchases.

This is a great interactive toy for cats. Keeps ours entertained for long periods of time, and it has a setting that is touch or vibration sensitive so they can turn it back on themselves. The battery is rechargeable and keeps a good charge. We have been using it for a week and haven’t had to recharge it yet.
