Super useful tool
This rivnut gun works really well. Minimal instructions are included, and it will take a few tries to get the hang of operating the tool. However, once you get the hang of it, it does a great job as an alternative to using a nut and bolt.I’ve used them in a few automotive applications, and they are holding up well. Side note - some common drill bit sizes should be noted for the riv nuts

Great little tool to have. I work on my motorcycle a lot and it comes very handy somes where my race fairing fasteners are not working.

About a 30% failure rate
The price is right for these, but not so great when the larger units break even with the most delicate touch during bolt installation. I've had good results with the smaller diameter units though, none have broken or stripped threads yet. I definitely wouldn't trust these in places that will be difficult to access after assembly or spots where the bolt will be removed frequently.
