Incredible for detailing or sketching
I've been using Sakura Pigma micron pens for years and my choice of point size has been the 02. This size kind of underwhelmed me when I first started using it, as the line is so extremely fine. Once I actually started using it though, I found it incredible for small detail work and sketching. I've been doing some simple mindfulness/slow drawing lately , and I found this small fineliner pen delightful to use in smaller areas. Depending on the type of paper that I use I can get an almost pencil like look to my drawings. The description lists the color on this as black, although I find the archival sepia ink to be more on the brown side. That isn't really an issue for me, but something for others to be aware of.I trust the Sakura name, and have enjoyed a number of their art supplies over the years. The current price of $17.74 at the time of this review is quite reasonable - I paid $12 for an 8 pack of the 02's 3 years ago. They are worth the money - they feel good in the hand, they last a long time and they just work. I would definitely purchase again.

Superfine Point Pens
To be honest, I jumped at the opportunity to add Pigma Micron sepia pens to my collection, but did not pay attention to the fact that these are size *003*, not 03. I typically use 01-05, with 03 being my favorite. These pens are incredibly fine-tipped and will produce a beautiful line for the tiniest of details. You can't beat Pigma Micron quality. I did deduct one star because the sepia is so close to black. I have a different brand (Faber Castell) of fine point sepia pens which write in a lovely warm brown. The Pigma sepia is just a bit too dark.

Micron makes great pens!
This is a great set if you run through your smallest fine liners quickly. They are all 003 point. The quality and ink are consistent with micron, and the set works great. These are perfect for inking the edge of watercolor or marker illustrations.

Excellent Sepia color ink pen for detailed sketching (not black)
These are excellent pens, but I have only one issue with this product. The product description headline says the ink color is Sepia, but the text in the product description says the ink color is black in two places. These fine sketching instruments use Sepia-colored ink (not black ink). Sepia is a reddish-brown ink color similar to aged old photographs. Sakura’s ink pens are superb. However, ending up with 12 sepia pens can be frustrating if you were expecting black. Luckily, I have come to love the sepia-colored ink.003 point pens are excellent for adding fine details and shading to my botanical sketches. You have to be gentle with the nibs, applying very little pressure. These are designed for sketching, not writing. You can also use them to write small initials to sign a drawing. Also, you must remember to store them horizontally. This is an excellent set of sepia color ink pens at a reasonable price.

SAKURA delivers again.
These are all the finest tip SAKURA pens. The detail that you can achieve with these is unparalleled. I like the sepia ink in these pens for doing line-work when I plan to watercolor over most of the piece and I don't want much in the way of dark outlines. These are great, and a big pack means I won't need to buy more for a very long time.

NOT Black; disappointing
I really hate giving these only 3 stars. I've been a big fan of SAKURA Pigma Micron pens for decades. Sadly, these are a disappointment. I don't know if I got a bad batch or if they're just wildly different from all the other pens I've used from this brand.I ordered these because they described the ink as black. It's not. It might be sepia. It might be that the combination of sepia ink and a 003 point make the ink barely visible. Or it might be that this is just a bad batch of pens. Honestly, I can't tell (yes, I've used 003 tip pens before). All I know for sure is - these don't fit my needs or expectations.

Disappointed, Doesn’t Write So Well
I love the Pigma Micron Fineliner pens. This is a 12 count package and the color black. They have points 003 cubes. I have used these pants before and I love them. I am disappointed in this set because the ink is very light and patchy. I tried all the pens out. You can barely see the ink and it is spotty. Usually Jess flows from these pens but not with this set. Some of them barely
