Good stuff!
Made a beef curry with this paste and it tasted amazing! I added in a bunch of scallions and a scotch bonnet pepper to give it a bit of extra kick. Fried them til soft and then added the paste, cooked for 5 mins to release the flavors and then added the beef. There are comments on here about adding less liquid than it says on the packet - that is correct advice! I did not add any water just half a can, 200ml ish, of full fat coconut milk and simmered for 25 mins. Good stuff!

Delicious if you like it hot
Very good Malay curry paste, quick and easy way to make a really delicious aromatic curry. It’s very hot though, I do like hot spicy food but it’s a bit too hot for me. Another problem is that one pack is for 1,3 kg of meat for 6-8 people and it would be nice to have a smaller pack.

Cooking Instruction (Serves 6-8): Pour in the Tean's Gourmet Paste For Rendang (Meat) and 2 tablespoons of cooking oil. Heat up, stir and bring to a boil Add in 1.3 kg chicken/beef/mutton meat and stir fry slowly for about 10 minutes. Pour 400 ml water and cook for 15 minutes over medium heat. Add in 150 ml thick coconut milk and bring to a boil. Once the gravy starts thickening, add in 30 g fried desiccated coconut and stir for 3 minutes. Serve hot.
