We got it for our son's 4 people tent. One strand is perfect length and goes over three sides of the tent top. The light is really nice and super weightless. It has little clips that are movable for attaching it to the tent and the battery conveniently hangs in the little triangle bag that is provided. Very easy to turn off and on. It is not very bright, but you can easily see backpack in the dark or change your clothes. The only gripe is with second option as blinking strobe (like Christmas lights). It is completely useless and would be better if they had option of low and bright light, instead of steady and blinking light. Our teenager likes it.

This gives your tent a nice warm glow on the inside. I always leave the power/switch end dangling just above the head end of my sleeping back, so you can conveniently turn on in the middle of the night without having to dig for flashlights/headlamps etc. Only caution is, it's not quit bright enough to read or see those dark corners of you tent but definitely adds ambiance and enough to see generally where things are.

I just love these lanterns! I’ve got a few now. I use them in my bedroom as I wind down for the night. Enjoy hanging them up in the tent for a nice lit effect. Also great to carry out to the outhouse when it is dark outdoors — use red for those and your animal encounters will go more smoothly ;) when they are indoors my cat has an unexplainable fascination with them. He just sits right by them and acts as if he charged w protecting them. Great product!!!

I love these things on backpacking trips when you want just a little bit of light around camp. I bought a second set since the ones I was gifted by my wife spend most of their time in her tent. They seem to be holding up well, battery life is good on three AAA batteries, and it is nice to have the option to run them from a USB power bank.

These put out juuuuust enough light to sort out your belongings in the tent before calling it a night. You could read or play cards under them, but your eyes may be straining. If that is a priority, I'd recommend supplementing these with a Moji Lantern or something similar.I ended up stringing these through 6 of the little fabric loops in the roof of my 2019 REI Half Dome 2 Plus. The string is just long enough to travel through all the loops (in a sort of hexagonal bowtie shape) and clip back onto itself, with the removable battery pack stashed in one of the pockets up top. The lights are light & flexible enough that I just leave them in and pack 'em up with the tent. Super easy, and I always have lights ready when I set up the tent.Now we have to talk about the "disco mode," aka "I sure hope I'm not epileptic" mode.Why, oh why, would they swap out the dimming feature with a useless strobe mode? If the dimming was causing issues, I'd MUCH rather just have a simple on/off switch and call it a day. In fact, the mode is so irritating that I felt it worth deducting a star from an otherwise perfect product.Despite the useless blinking mode, I do still highly recommend these lights. Just enough light to get the job done, and in a lightweight, versatile package that lasts a long time on 3 AAA batteries. Love the lantern-bag idea, too.

I love this little lamp, it's light weight and small, makes the tent feel cozy, it comes with little hooks too so no need to tie it

Lights are nice and worked fine with USB battery. Unfortunately the battery adapter never worked, which is a shame because it has the on off switch and usually BA products are good. And yes, tried several sets of fresh batteries.

We purchased this as we have a Big Agnes camping tent. The overall length could be longer but still works well. The included clips are a nice touch which makes rigging them up inside the tent super easy. I like that you easily plug this lite set into a USB power bank and that it has three light settings...could be a little brighter, but it's not a deal breaker. If you're looking for some good lights that are durable and easy to set up...this would be a good choice.
