Minecraft: Beginner's Handbook - Updated Edition: An Official Minecraft Book from Mojang Hardcover – 7 May 2015

My son has just got into Minecraft in a big way he is 6 years old and the usual exortiante book club was a t school this week so i said that he could order a book that he actually wants of Amazon. He chose this one. The book arrived quickly and was well packed as always by Amazon and because i used next day delivery the parcel was fully tracked allowing me to see when the parcel would arrive. For a cheap book it is greta quality with it's thick hardcover and the pages are a nice quality. This is the updated version and it is written at a level that my son can read (But some of the bigger words he needs help with) and it contains alot of useful information to the game form getting a basic grasp of the game to more advanced techniques like farming and breeding animals. I bought this book and the construction book for my boys who are 6 and 8. My 6 year old normally requires a lot of persuasion to read but he's read this book cover to cover. Brilliant for little Minecraft fans.

My nine year old said that it was easy to use and understand, and teaches you all about minecraft.

My daughter is a minecraft fanatic. She has built a wonderful town in creative mode but is scared to venture into survival. I'm going this book will give her the knowledge and the courage to venture out. Very good quality and worth the price. As toys r us are selling them for £9.99 each. These are a real bargin.

Never played Minecraft before but want to and don't know where to begin. Then get this. Ideal for Minecraft virgins. As it will tell you every you need to know in order to get you started... even if it is slightly out of date.

Great little book for mindcraft fans, it's a hardback as well which is nice and makes part of a set if you buy them all.Good value when bought from amazon, it was more expensive everywhere else at the time I bought it.

Good inspiration if you're really into Minecraft. Not so good for beginners as the ideas are quite intensive or laborious especially for very young children. Overall great if you want to really get stuck into crafting.
