This is the best out there.
I bought this for a Yarbo yard care system. The Yarbo system is a satellite driven totally autonomous lawn mower and snowblower and cost many thousands of dollars, so the price of this is negligible, and still a very good value for the money for what it can do. The Yarbo is accurate to within 1 cubic centimeter, (Yes, even blowing your snow) so it needs lots of satellites. Even with all that money spent, Yarbo still requires a CAT 6 POE (Power Over Ethernet) connection. They even send you a 330 foot CAT 6 cable to run it on, and a POE injector strong enough to push it. Even if it was on Wi Fi, you'd still have to power it up, so this system is just fine. Just a little more of a hassle because it has to plug into your network router directly. And it has to get to the router one way or another. POE makes that kind of final. The main problem? Getting it inside. I have a very large network inside a Wi Fi envelope with two Wi Fi access points. One in the front of the house and one in the back. Together, they run about 40 devices from my television to my door locks. Both share the same name so they act as one network and are interchangeable to the main network. Off one branch of the main network, I have a bay window on the back of the house. A CAT 6, 50 footer reaches Yarbo from there. And on a shelf in the picture window is a wired Wi Fi access point that covers the back yard. The Cat 6 that runs it is under the floor and connects directly to my 14 port rack mounted central router to the house, my main network. I have hardwired nodes all over the house. The Access Point also has a 1gig X 4 port router built into the back of it, which is hard wired, and why you don't buy the cheapest access point. This seemed like the perfect place to plug Yarbo in and sure enough, it was. It gave the Yarbo a direct connection from the pole outside where it sits, to my main network, in one hard line with a 1 gig boost in the middle of it. Without using wireless. Yarbo supplies the POE adapter and that's the only break in the line. And all this is possible because of this 65 dollar Waveform window adapter kit. Unless I want to drill a hole in my house not even knowing if Yarbo might have to be moved, no thanks. Nice Job Waveform! This window entry cable adapter works very well and sure beats drilling holes in your house. And Yarbo immediately picked up 90 satellites. (it maps it and I counted them) Out of the 90, it'll use about 20 for positioning. That's what it's supposed to do, and that's what it did. This adapter easily slipped through a new casement window that is part of the bay window, I half expected it to cut it in half. But it didn't even notice it and cranked shut with no resistance. (what?) I was also able to put the screen back on with no hassle or damage as well. Too easy. One thing: You may have to trim the connector rubber easy tabs off the Cat 6 exterior plug for the plug to fit through the exterior housing. It's bare minimum in size. It could be a size bigger if you want to nit pik. But no matter: If you need to get CAT cable outside and don't want to drill holes in your house, Or if you need CAT/POE outside for security cameras, StarLink and such, this is definitely the way to do it. You could put these all over your house, only limited by the size of your network. Also; as far as I'm aware, ghost ribbon does not do POE. I highly recommend the Waveform Ethernet Window Entry Cable. Money well spent. Danny J.

Works as intended!
So far so good! Does exactly what I needed for a rental. Was able to close my window and screen over cable. Time will tell if it holds up. Only small complaint I have is the price, but seems like a niche item so it is what it is. Would also be nice if they included a small cable you’re gonna need to go from the inside port to the starlink router. My speeds are great so far, granted I haven’t tested my speeds without this entry cable so take that for what it is.

Must have
Amazing, I used this with my starlink and its working perfectly and showing now signs of slower speeds! I have bought two of these and they have both worked great, never lost a connection with either of them.

Great for renters !
Works perfectly with Starlink setup. Passes though window so cable doesn’t need to be drilled. Window closes and locks just as before.

Great idea, did not connect. Bypassed an drilled instead
tried this flat CAT6A passthrough for a clean no-drill install… and it completely failed with my Starlink! Promised full PoE++ support and gigabit speeds for Gen 3, but in reality: no power to the dish, no link lights, no connection at all. Starlink’s quirky PoE implementation just doesn’t play nice with this third-party flat cable.

Customer service from an era long past is still held at Waveform
I ordered a pair of these flat cable extensions to solve my problem of routing network cable through a window without crushing the cable. Not only did they work great getting through window seals without damage (400+ MBS speeds using them BTW), but they completely sealed off the cable connectors from Michigan seasons. A week ago, I was reworking the cables and lost the inner "thick gasket" around the network cable that blocks moisture infiltration. I contacted Waveform to see if I could order a replacement. They told me the components were custom made, they could not send me a replacement part, and it was unlikely I would find an exact replacement anywhere. BUT....they also told me they'll happily send a complete new assembly free of charge. Now that's customer service that aspiring and hurting manufacture's should study and adopt to gain and hold customers.

Worth every penny!
Easy to install and worked perfectly! It fits right in flat and you close the window on it with no problems, and BONUS I didn't have to remove screen either! Used this to connect my Starlink. Definitely recommend!

No signal loss
Works perfectly. No signal loss

Works well. I bought for live-streaming when needing to use cellular data in buildings. I’m able to run this through side doors, especially in steel frame buildings to connect to my mobile router. Using poe I can power my ubiquiti router and not have to worry about weather and exposed electrical connections.

Génial ! J'ai commandé Starlink sans prendre en compte l'installation sur mon balcon... cet article a totalement résolu mon problème, ça passe totalement même pour une porte coulissante et sans perte de débit ! Je recommande 100%

Using this for my roof-mounted Starlink Gen 3. Used a ridge mount so no drilling or screws required, then lead the main Starlink cable down to a window. This short entry cable works really well and allows me to keep the window closed. The signal strength doesn't seem to be affected. I get around 250Mbps with or without this entry cable. The voltage drop, due to the thinner gauge cable, doesn't seem to affect it. It's such a short run of thinner cable anyway. Highly recommended for super easy Starlink installs, especially for renters who can't, or don't want to, do any drilling to the house. You'll need to buy another short ethernet cable to go from the entry cable to the router. Get a good quality one and keep it short, like 12 inches, if you case. I have my router on the window sill.
