The weight is perfect for when I strap these on while running around the house doing chores or needing a little extra weight at Pilates. They are well-made, and the velcro is very secure and thick. The only issue I have found is that I often wear no-show socks, and when I wear them around my ankles, I end up with some bruising around my ankles because my skin gets pinched in between the weights as they shift around. It doesn't happen as badly with my wrists, but they are more comfortable if I wear long sleeves or tall socks.

After a stroke andvwantingvto float in the pool these are the perfect weight for my mom to use around her ankles to keep her legs from floating up.
