Rock Band 3 Wireless Pro Drums and Cymbal Pack (Xbox 360)

I've had tons of fun playing on these drums and I'm sure there will be more where that came from. These drums are perfect if you want the feeling of being a real drummer.

Bought for my 11 year old son. Worried that he wouldn't use it, I was wrong - he is on it all the time and loves it.

I bought this for myself recently and I must say I was quite impressed with it. It does require assembling, which takes you anywhere between 10 - 20 minutes and is no real fuss at all. You may need to play around with the cymbals a little bit, to get them in the ideal position for the individual.You get 3 cymbals and 1 pedal (re-enforced with a metal plate) + an extra port for an additional pedal, which can be used as a hihat or double bass. If you play RB3 you can tweak these with the pro drum options in the menu.My only comment is that fixtures will wear down over time, which you need to make a slight tweak so they don't move around. You will probably need to get some protective covers for the drum pads, as these dont wear to well (especially if you play alot). You can get the covers + pedal repair kit for around £4.50-£8 mark.Now playing the kit is great fun for all, takes a little bit of time to adjust to extra cymbal postioning (especially if you play alot of guitar hero games). But everything responds really well, had no problems setting up or calibrating. I play on expert most of the time and the only miss hits I get is from my own human error, not from the kit itself unlike some of the comments I have seen. If you do encounter problems MadCatZ and harmonix are very helpful with solving any issues you may have.If you have RB3 then you can export your old RB games or DLC (beatles cannot be exported), RB3 will also chart the cymbals for whatever the song. I find this a great addition to RB in general, plus the fact that they have over 3500 songs on DLC and still counting, releasing DLC every week (which is awesome). Harmonix have really listened to consumer and fixed alot problems here, plus they will listen to you if you need speak them (which I have done through twitter and on the phone)Overall highly recommended for video gamers, worth the money I paid. It has the potential to teach you on how a real drum kit works with addition of the an extra port for a hihat pedal (pro mode only) and with the midi adapter (sold seperatly), you can plug it into a pc or other equipment and play for real.Don't get me wrong here... This is a great bit of kit for video gamers out there and is decent value for the money if you play alot of these games. Plus this is probably the closest you'll get to proper drums without paying out loads of cash. However if you are more serious about these games or drumming in general, you will need to spend some more money get a proper, more secure piece of kit like the IONs or Roland kits for example.

is there any reason why my yellow cymbal stopped working after literally one day, after a night of playing, so I'd say 2 hours, it completely stopped working.

These have lasted us 3 years + and have been used a lot!

For the first few months I had this, it worked perfectly. After about a month the pads started to become very unresponsive and the material on the heads was coming loose on the red pad. Also, about 3 months after I got it I plugged the cymbals in for the first time to play pro mode. When I did this, the kick pedal stopped working with most of my rock band and guitar hero games, when there were no problems at all previously. The only game the kick pedal now works with is rock band 3.

If you haven't already purchased the rock band drums, I would defintely recommend these. I got these for christmas, and after setting them up (took me about 20 mins) i popped in rock band 3 and was very surprised at how good these drums are. I had previously been using the Guitar hero World Tour drums, which were pretty good, but the red drum did break after a couple months. But the Rockband pro drums are very durable, and you can hit them pretty hard, which I do a lot since I play with a headset.Definitely worth £100.

Setting Up - 4/5The main drumkit is very simple to set up, and only takes a few mintues. But adding the cymbals posed a problem. The clamp which is attached to the legs of the drumkit cannot be tightened enough for the hi-hat (Yellow one). This was another problem for professional drummers such as myself, as every time I hit the cymbal it falls to rest on the kit. I had to resort to using duct tape to keep the cymbal held up.Response to hits - 3/5Both the main drumkit and the cymbals have issues here. In fast, repeated rhythms and drum fills, the drumkit misses some notes even if you hit all notes perfectly. On Expert Pro, this can cause you to fail very easily on difficult songs.Overall - 4/5Even with the problems, the game is still playable and is still extremely fun. But if you are a pro drummer or hate being told you're wrong, then this kit could cause a lot of frustration.

I absolutely LOVE this drum set! It was an upgrade from the Guitar Hero World Tour drum set. It was very well packaged which is expected. The instructions to put this thing together weren't necessarily "idiot proof" but I did eventually get it set up how I wanted it in about 30 minutes. You can adjust the height of the individual cymbals and the drum set as a whole however you like.This drum set is very sturdy. I like to POUND the drums and this set can take it well. The packaged drum sticks are thicker than the Guitar Hero ones. Its a good thing, but they create a little more noise and I live in an apartment. So I may invest in some Rock Band drum silencers.Also, I noticed a lot of people complain about the yellow cymbal slowly lowering after a certain amount of hits. I won't sit here and they put it together wrong, but I have never had any problems with my cymbals. As stated before, I hit the drums a little harder than the average person and my cymbals are in the same place I installed them.Another good thing is that this drum set does not take up a WHOLE LOT OF SPACE! For it to have 4 pads and 3 cymbals you would think otherwise.One main thing I wondered before buying this drum set was if it was compatible with any games besides Rock Band. I own a few Guitar Hero games myself. But this set does work with all of my Guitar Hero games that have drum capabilities. (GHWT, GH5) They even changed the highway to 4 notes because I don't have the fifth one like the Guitar Hero drums. I assume it will work with all the other GH games. I guess it should if it costs that much.In Rock Band 3 it is supposed to have a pro feature where the cymbals and bass pads will have their own notes. I'm really looking forward to that and it actually played a big role in swaying my mind to buy it.I think this drum set is very attractive. A BIG step from the Guitar Hero one, and every time I look at this drum set it makes me want to pop in the game and get my Travis Barker on. Ho iniziato a giocare a Rock Band un po' per curiosità comprando, un po' di tempo fa, Beatles Rock Band, con tutti gli strumenti. La batteria, in versione value, era la stessa di Rock Band (quindi solo i 4 pad più il pedale): un buon prodotto ma non molto stabile.Con l'uscita di Rock Band 3 ho deciso di acquistare la batteria pro e devo dire di non essere affatto rimasto deluso. Il prodotto è di ottima fattura (tranne per uno dei bottoncini che non si avvita bene a uno dei piatti, difetto arginabile dato che i bottoncini sono 4 e i piatti 3, quindi ve ne è uno in più). Mentre si suona sta ben ancorato a terra grazie a dei gommini che la vecchia batteria non aveva. Il pedale, parzialmente in metallo, è molto meno plasticoso del precedente e, come tutta la batteria, è caratterizzato da un'ottima sensazione di solidità.E' un prodotto che consiglio, abbinato a Rock Band 3, a tutti gli appassionati di musica.

Zum Aufbau:Ich schließe mich was den Aufbau angeht "Balloonhead" an, die Drums an sich sind schnell im den für sie vorgesehennen Ständer befestigt, die Becken allerdings treiben einen fast zur Weisglut^^Bis man seine richtige Einstellung gefunden hat geht gern einmal ne halbe Stunde drauf.Zu den Features:Okay endlich nach 3 Jahren erscheint nun auch in Europa ein Rock Band Drumset mit Anschluss für Becken und Double Bass. Dickes Plus!Die Becken sind solide gefertigt, die gesammte spielbare Fläche hat einen Gummimantel. Das Fußpedal stellt mich sehr zufrieden, gibt zwar noch nicht genügend Re-bound, aber dafür kann man ja ein 2. Pedal anschließen.Im Gegenteil die PadŽs dank einem extrem starken Re-Bound, spart man Mühe und Kraft für den kommenden Hit.Das Kabelos-Feature ist übertrieben und macht die Drums sinnlos teuer, ein Kabel hat mich schon bei den alten Drums nicht gestört.WICHTIG: Wer hier eine richtige E-Drum erwartet ist falsch, ein MIDI-Ausgang ist nicht vorhanden, aber mal ehrlich eine richtige E-Drum für 130? Wäre zu gütig : )Problem: Die Klammer des einzelnen Becken ist nicht so Solide wie die der anderen beiden, und genau das ist der Punkt weshalb bei nicht präzisen schlägen auf diesem becken Double-Hits entstehen. Dieser Mangel kann behoben werden indem man das Becken mögicihst tief einstellt, um nur die Oberfläche und NICHT die Kanten zu treffen.Mehr Spaß als mit diesem Drumset kann man fast garnicht in Rock Band 3 haben, trotz kleiner Macken ein Wahnsinnsprodukt, jeder Cent hat sich gelohnt.

Davvero divertente, di buona fattura e resistente! Sembra davvero di suonare una batteria vera. Nessun problema di collegamenti o altro.
