Not sterile, 10" long, @1 1/2 " large, thick cotton tips, definitely worth getting!
NOT STERILE! Large cotton tip 10" swabs.The stick part is strong and doesn't bend.Very helpful in reaching open wound(s) on ankle or back to apply antibiotic ointment, especially IMPORTANT if you have limited motion in your arm(s).Comes wrapped in paper in groups of ten, all inside a resealable plastic bag.DEFINATELY worth getting if you are needing to reach a wound too far to reach otherwise and you are not informed to use sterile swabs!

Huge cotton tips, but frays easily.
I purchased these cotton tipped applicators to be able to reach inside my classic Mustang engine (200 cid, 6 cyl) to clean out the lifter bores. It worked well for this purpose - but the cotton did fray off a bit while doing this. Having sprayed brake cleaner on the cotton, this may have contributed to the fraying, as it's probably not meant to be used for such a purpose. But, they worked well for my needs and I would buy again.
