Does not work with A3500
This does not activate the Vitamix base like an original pitcher. It’s seems not to have the NFC tag needed for the base to recognize something is on it. All of my OEM accessories work fine so I know it is this pitcher and not the base that has the issue. Buyer beware.

Cover gasket doesn't seal. Container plastic feels thin
-----Short version:Structurally thinner than original and container body has flex when pressed, as expected at this price range.Gasket at top doesn't seal.Cannot comment on blender blade itself on durability/leak potential (returning this)The top cover is plastic and not rubber like every other variant on Amazon at the moment of purchase. Not a pro or con, or any concern unless you want to vacuum seal it.Verdict:Buy, if you need a cheap cost container and don't care about longevity. I mean just buy it, you're already looking at this item because of the cost. Or Don't buy, especially because you read 18 other useless Vine reviews for no useful info. Don't buy it just as a screw you to useless vine reviews.-----Long version:At time of purchase, this item had all 5 star reviews. All 18 from Vine users with rather generic canned wordings that described the product.I picked this specific one after scrutinizing several other options because of the cap design. Majority, including the original vitamix container cap is made of heavy duty rubber of some sort with two clips that latches on to the lip of the container. This particular container has a cap which is plastic instead of rubber. This caters to a specific needs of mine that made me choose it. Cap itself also has a silicon gasket seal which made me think this container cap would seal nicely but turned out otherwise. The cap itself when fixed on the container does NOT seal at all, and there's a significant gap that renders the the gasket pointless. Maybe not 100% pointless if it offers some kind of friction to make it feel like the cap won't just pop off, I don't know. I needed the seal to be 100%, similar to the newer vitamix container design where the top is clear. Vitamix does NOT sell any containers in the sizes of 32oz with this particular design. Only options are 48oz, and 64oz low profile in which I already have the stainless steel version of. I also have the 64oz as well but the rubber top.Reason why I bought this was to kill 2 birds with one stone; it fills the void where I lack a 32oz container with newer cap design(seals 100%) and having to purchase the 64oz new version JUST for the sealing cover. You might be wondering why I keep bring up container top that seals 100% and the reason is so I can suck the air out of the container prior to blending to minimize air. Vitamix doesn't venture into the vacuum blending territory and you need to spend a tons of money for a dedicated vacuum blender BUT there is a hack that simply requires a round gasket, aeropress plunger gasket, and wine bottle vacuum thingie and you can now suck out some of the air inside. I don't know how much air really but it works. You don't need to burn a hole in your wallet on the whole new container and cap from that other brand costing $300 just to end up with a smaller container capacity. Nor do you need to purchase a whole new blender setup. Only expenses is that round gasket, aeropress plunger gasket, and wine bottle vaccuum kit along with a vitamix container that has the hard plastic top(which is only specific containers.) This means you need to hand pump out the air which is a bit of work but if you spend a little more for a mason jar vacuum kit you can now automatically pump out air and recharge the pump via usb C(not all sellers sell ones that have the adapter for sucking out air for the wine bottle!) Oh, did I mention this tall 64oz also replaces the 32oz since it's known that the original 64oz narrow at the bottom so you can blend smaller quantities. The next flaw of this container, is the structural integrity itself. For the purpose of removing air it should be solid. This container, however, starts to flex from the top when you put a little pressure on it. The whole body of the container itself down to the base also flex when pressed. Original vitamix container doesn't flex the slightest bit, and there's really no point comparing the two since this one is far FAR cheaper in cost. Not sure what everyone else is using their blenders for but if you're blending anything that might be frozen, chances are the container itself takes a beating, and I expect the container to be a bit more solid. Flexing of the container makes me lose faith in that it'll hold up in the long run but at this cost you can just get another. If this container was thicker in material and the top cover seals properly, I'd might've given it a 5 star.4 stars, because it has a different cap design, but sadly it doesn't seal completely. In fact, it even has two small notches of some sort to vent maybe? This makes me drop it to 3 stars but that's cruel because at this price range the container is perfectly fine to buy for daily use except the thin material makes me think twice. I'm Just shy of making this 1 or 2 star on the basis that all the reviews labeled as "Vine" look like trash reviews. What good is a review if it doesn't point out anything new or useful info other than regurgitate repetitive OBVIOUS information.I did not attempt to use this container and am returning it. The plastic feels too thin, the gasket at top doesn't seal and the locking mechanism of the cover itself I don't even want to bother trying to figure out. Even the box it comes in with is thin cardboard that would sustain damage to product had it not been shipped in another box.

Was as strong as the original!
I had purchased a different replacement and was not happy as the power was not there. This product was as powerful as the original and loved it.
