Well written, thorough text
Incentivized Review offer from Publisher. I had already passed this exam but wanted to be more thorough. Packt really helped fill some gaps that I had. This text is well written and doesn't overly complicate exam topics. Give this one a shot, I don't think you will be disappointed. Also, I've started collecting other Packt books. Currently reviewing the SAP-C02 text and I'm glad I started there, toward my AWS certificate

Great Resource for Azure
More and more of my clients are using Azure, so I needed to find a good resource for myself and helping them. Azure packs a lot of features so having this book was a godsend so I can make the most of Azure. I highly recommend people to pick up this book if you're working with Azure.

A good prep, lots of content.
I especially liked the deeper descriptions on Entra ID, which has been a pain to manage. Definitely helpful. I found that the chapters were also laid out in a way that made it easy to follow and progress. Highly recommend this book.

Practical Hands-On Examples
If you are looking for a book with lots of screenshots and demos on how to set up resources in Azure, this is the one for you. Donovan goes beyond just textbook definitions—he provides hands-on examples and walkthroughs that help you see the platform in action. From virtual machines to identity management and networking, each topic is broken down in a way that’s easy to follow, especially for those who learn best by doing. One thing I appreciated was how the book balances theory with real-world application. Donovan doesn’t just tell you what a service is, but why it matters and how to use it in a practical setting. This approach makes the material far more engaging and relevant, whether you're studying for the AZ-104 or actively working in Azure environments. That makes it a great resource not just for passing the test, but for becoming a better Azure administrator overall.I would recommend this book to anyone preparing for the AZ-104 and looking for help bridging the gap between conceptual knowledge and real-world Azure experience.

A must-have book for every Azure admin.
I find this book a valuable resource, not only for preparing the AZ-104 exam, but also to learn about Azure, fill in the gaps, and be better at your (Azure-related) job. Book is nicely structured and easy to follow - written in a straightforward way. There are many real-world examples and hands-on labs that help you easily master even the complex(ier) topics. It covers all the essential areas of the exam, provides many tips, and also online resources, like practice tests and flashcards, which can be extremely helpful! I would recommend this book to every Azure admin, whether you are doing the exam or not. It is also in its third edition, so - it must be good.

Great book for getting started with Azure!
I made this purchase to get up to speed on Azure quickly, I needed something beyond Microsoft Learn's AZ900 guide. It's been a great read, easy to follow, not too dry, and extraordinarily helpful in the new tasks I've been taking on at work. I can recommend this to anyone needing a reference for their job, or who just wants to get started with their first steps in cloud computing & networking.

Prep for your exam
An exhaustive review of all the essentials needed for those prepping to take an Azure administrator exam. It includes helpful questions and links to online sources to practice for your exam. These study books are great, but highlight a key essential for administrator certifications that one must not only know the material but understand applications. It's not just about knowing the words, but getting into the material and applying those knowledge elements regularly. A great book to help you learn.
