I use these in place of snap clips for my weight machine. They work great.

I used this product to replace the strap that came with my climbing chalk bag. The rings were very helpful, they allowed both loops to be connected with one of the clips. The description is not very clear on the approved uses of this clip, I would like more detailed information other than what its supposed weight rating is.

I wouldn’t climb with these in spite of the great tensile strength claimed, but overall this is a quality manufactured product which would be ideal for most non-climbing purposes, for instance camping, hammock suspension, boating or otherwise. What I particularly like is that the mouth of the gate opening is not “catchy” as in many low priced binders. The lip of the gate is nicely rounded and powder coated so it doesn’t catch on nylon strips and whatever else goes through the gate. I use these to keep my kayak on top of my car with nylon straps, and the non-catchiness is a real benefit when frequently putting it on and off. These look and feel quality made.

I use these in my garage gym pulley system. So far they've proven reliable and scratch resistant. I was a little worried that the metal wires on the closure might bend under stress, but so far they've held up well.

I keep one of these carabiners attached to my purse. When I’m in the grocery store, I clip my purse to the shopping cart so no one can take it. When I’m in a restaurant, I clip my purse straps together through a spindle in the chair so it won’t get stolen.

The spring action is smooth. Makes a great clipping sound. I originally bought them to replace the clips for my tool bag. I use the extra ones for keys. I don’t use them for hiking for I don’t hike. But they’re great for other uses. Definitely would buy more if I needed more.

Purchased these carabiners for general use….work well for intended use.do not use for supporting heavy items or climbing as stated.
