House Plant Expert, The The world s best-selling book on house pl (Expert Series)

Lots of information to enable a good choice of house plants and also tips on care. This book was so good that my friend wanted my copy and I had to buy this one to replace it.

I used to have a copy of this book so this a replacement i always found it useful to manage my house plants

Recommended to buy this book from another book review (where it was said this was the definitive publication about houseplants). Quite a substantial book with the majority of it given over to an alphabetic individual description of each 'houseplant'- said loosely as many of the plants included I would not have included as houseplants, but it makes for interesting reading nonetheless. Many of the currently fashionable houseplants are missing and the photos/layout of the book are really old looking (from the 1970's in my 1996 copy). Good, but I'm still looking for the definitive book.

This is a great book. I bought it after I saw botanist James Wong say it taught him everything he knows about house plants and it didn’t disappoint. Although it is a bit old, it contains care guides to so many plants that all the ‘trendy’ types such as succulents, ferns etc are all in there.

Only when picking up House Plans expert book 2 did I realise that my twenty five year old original had been replaced. Minor disappointment was that the Book 1 I have doesn't have an index referring to the contents of both books. Book 2 does. Otherwise great value.

Excellent book. Simple, easy to understand care info and tips. Quickly diagnose plant issues. Identify plants easily with great plant images. Good for beginners and plant experts.

Es un buen complemento al primer tomo de ese título, con capítulos monográficos interesantes. Además, a diferencia del primer volumen, para los no anglosajones tiene la ventaja de dar las temperaturas en grados Celsius, más familiares para nosotros que los Farenheit.

The book came to me very fast, It is a fantastic book, I am a plant lover, the book is so well made and very detailed and explains all the things one need to know to properly care for the plants, definitely a great buy!
