Could use a better method for capping it.
Better for leaf hops or clipping on the side of a pot during the boil but be warned the mesh will clog pretty easily with pellet hops. I also suggest using a string on the cap to hold it upright and wrap it around the bottom as it may come open during a dry hoping if you use large amounts of hops. As the hops expand they will pop the lid off since it just pushes on the top without any threads or anything to clip it closed. It's a bit flimsy so be careful when cleaning it even a strong jet of water can bend the mesh out of shape.

The threaded cap dosn't tread...
For the amount I paid for this I would at least expect the threaded cap to securely fasten. Instead it disconnects with ease. This is especially troubling due to the fact that the threaded cap is where the loop ring is located for the use of pulling the filter from my beer. I highly doubt it would stay intact after I attempt to pull this filter from the beer via a string attached to the very loose fitting cap. Thus defeating the main purpose and entire use of said hop filter.

So so
-The filter came apart from the stainless steel nipple. It’s attached with a clamp that you can’t tighten. I was able to screw it mostly back together but it’s clear it will come apart again the next time I screw it into my kettle.-the hop spider doesn’t come with a chain to keep it upright. The top has holes much larger than 300 microns, so hops rise and break apart during the boil and then exit the larger holes. It captures a lot, but let’s plenty out into your beer.-the largest hop spider works as intended

Waste of money and beer
The top falls off with such ease, that this is essentially worthless. I bought two. I'm going to look into returning two. Completely terrible. Now I have a clogged beer tube in my corny, and some NEIPA with 5 oz of hops floating in it.

works well needs chain
I have a FastFerment and wanted something to hold the Hops so they were easy to remove. This works good. Have no issue with it. Wish it came with SS chain on top.
