Interesting
This is an interesting way to trap pests. I had two issues in late-August and September - there was a mouse on the loose and there was an unusually high amount of insects. I placed one of these pest trap boards on a higher level and one on a fireplace. There were several other different mouse traps placed around the place on the floor, as well as several strips of fly paper hanging from the ceilings. The cardboard on the outer part of these boards is very solid and it makes them easy to move and fold as required. The net result was the mouse was caught within a day or two. It was stuck fast to the board but was still very much alive when I found it. I was just happy to catch it, but for the poor mouse it was a gruesome death. It's coat was covered in extremely sticky glue. I tried to be kind and carefully peel the mouse off the board and give it a quick bath before releasing it outside, but there was no hope for it. This pest trap board was certainly far more effective than the more humane mouse traps with bait I was using, that would trap the mouse unharmed in a little chamber. These traps were there for weeks and didn't catch the mouse. The pest trap board placed at a higher level, under a lamp on a cabinet, did slowly catch several insects. I had fly paper of a different brand in other places and this fly paper was definitely more successful in catching things than the pest trap board was. It was very noticeable that probably 90% of the insects caught by this pest trap board were tiny, possibly newly born insects, while the fly paper seemed to catch exclusively fully grown flies and more of them. The combination of these pest trap boards and the fly paper soon ended my issues with insect infestation and perhaps it is a good idea to try to catch flies when they are freshly born and really small, if that's what I was doing?I'm happy with these pest traps boards as they caught all of the pests that I wanted to catch.

Sticky but....
Having read, re-read and re-read again the instructions I am still not sure that I have been able to 'activate' these as suggested. They are very sticky - as you will find when removing the button - maybe that's the bit I should be pressing? To date I have not trapped a single pest indoors and I am about to try outdoors but I do so in hope rather than expectation.Simple fly-papers these are not but perhaps, just perhaps, they are a bit too 'clever' for their own good?
