C&H, Cane Sugar, Golden Brown, 2lb Bag (Pack of 2)

Amazing product, and untainted by the High Fructose Corn Syrup industry as of yet. Hopefully the government doesn't ban pure sugar (such as this) in lieu of their HFCS Frankenstein abomination corn industry. If you're going to eat something sweet, at least do it with real sugar and not HFCS, which disrupts your gut bacteria. The HFCS industry would like you to believe that it's the same as Sugar. No! It's not.

Won't be long before the Holidays .. and there is NOTHING on the menu that won't be better with THIS Brown Sugar !!When we go on mission trips .. we always take some with us ... to make great treats for the kiddos .. nothing as quick and yummy as some C&H sprinkled on or dipped INTO .. lol ...makes one wanna run to get a recipe for baked beans for a Fall cookout .. Christmas cookies or New Years' Eve Black Eyed Peas for the new year Good Luck .. Happy Cooking .. get creative and make your own family tradition BETTER !!!

this brand name and type of brown sugar was listed as the key ingredient in a recipe from my youth i was trying to duplicate - and failing at miserably . besides not wanting to spend that kind of money for brown sugar and not believing brown sugar to be that important, i spent months playing with and screwing up more attempts than i care to remember. so i gave up and bought this sugar - and my first attempt produced the product i have spent years chasing. the sugar really melts like a syrup with no grainy residue when either hot or cold. why, i don't know nor do i care. excellent product and i'll continue to pay the ridiculous price.

This is the best brand of brown sugar if you want the kind that melts in your mouth like I remember from my childhood. I make a lot of "sticky buns" and this is the only kind of brown sugar with which I like to make the syrup that goes into the pan before the rolls. It is hard to find in the stores.

Brown sugar was hard as a rock.
