Fun for kids!
My son loved this tornado maker. It’s set up is easy and can be done in less than a minute. I’d know, because as soon as he opened the gift, he had it set up before I could even ask him if he liked it! It came with a small educational pamphlet which is nice and my son plays with it all the time. It doesn’t require batteries which is a plus.

Cool little experiment
Easy to use and straightforward. The bottles are smaller than I was expecting but it still works (or rather, preschoolers can still get it to work before it empties). Small enough that I can include filling it, carrying a full bottle to the table, and emptying at the end as steps of the activity

Educational Fun, But Requires Upgrading
The connector is sturdy and works as intended. It attaches securely and allows water to flow between bottles without leaking. The kit includes two small plastic bottles, but they are much smaller than needed for good results. Because of their size, the tornado effect is very short, lasting only about one to two seconds. To get a proper, longer-lasting vortex, it would be better to replace them with two standard 2-liter bottles. The instruction booklet and the tornado facts booklet are written in poor English, which makes them hard to follow. The diagrams help a little, but the writing could have been clearer and more accurate. Overall, the connector itself is useful, but better bottles and clearer instructions would make the kit much more effective.

Wow!’ tornado
Great experiment, works great and actually gives you a feel how a real tornado would form, amazing how this works.

Waste of money and pricy for what it is!

I've bought this for my Son for Christmas as he's obsessed with extreme weather. I've obviously not used it yet but the box is a LOT smaller than I anticipated and for nearly £18 I expected more!
