It took me only 30 seconds to place the ironing board cover on the board. I pulled the strings a bit to start the curving then placed the pad on the board. Then I pulled the strings tight after placing the pad in the right position. The pad has a wonderful fit and wraps very tight with room to spare. There’s no chance of it slipping off the board during ironing or setting it up and storing it. There’s no smell to it and it’s soft. Nice cover!

The color is OK.... but the fit is bizarre... it is supposed to fit an extra large board... I compared the measurements before ordering it. It barely.... curves around the sides.... not all the way around... it is way too long and not really wide enough... plus there are these two very flimsy strings to tighten it up.... and since there is so much extra length, it is hard to tighten it enough to stay on the board. overall, awkward.... needs to be wider and with better strings. I gave it two stars because we did manage (two of us) to get it on the board and it seems to help somewhat with the surface. I worry it won't stay on though.

This pad installs via drawstring but its really hard to get everything to adjust and unless you have a permanent ironing station, where you just leave the board standing up, the cover will most likely come off easily. Even with my hardest trying to attach it right, it still somewhat just sits on it. The material itself is good and lets me iron my fabric neatly but I am most likely going to have to replace it with a cover that uses elastic to install it. It is really pretty but it also has a small tear in it already from my first day of using it and I don't even know how it happened as I was wearing seats all day so it's not necessarily the most sturdy.The design is gorgeous but i am not sure whether the practicality is really there

I have a big ironing board at 15" x 54" and I wanted to replace the cover and pad.Before I ordered this one, I ordered three others - each said it would fit a board the size of mine, including a couple that were touted as "professional" - I sent them all back because they weren't large enough to cover the board.Finally, I ordered this one and I wish I had done it sooner!!So happy with the fit of the new cover - it will never shift or move. It pulls all the way around the edges of the board so it can be secured on the underside with clips. The pad is cushy and seems like it will hold the heat.Took about five minutes to put the cover on, even with the clips. I slid the fabric toward the square end to make a slight pocket to catch the edge. Then I put the cover over the pointed end and pulled the strings. Once I had it fitted drum tight, I tied a knot in the end, around the slide stop that keeps the string under tension and added the clips so that they don't interfere with the opening and closing of the board. With this ironing board cover, I don't need the clips, but I have them so I will store them on this cover, rather than use them to hold the cover on.

This ironing board pad did not come with an elastic underneath to wrap around my ironing board. Very strange. Super thin material with felt and one of those tiny drawstrings only at the tip of the pad like you see on the bottom of jackets sometimes that drawstring it tighter, but no idea how that was going to work. This would have slipped around like crazy. I was almost laughing, but it was sad. Returning to UPS store today. Maybe it's for decoration only?

My ironing board cover is very stylish. I love that it adds color and style to an otherwise drab fixture to my ironing space. The material is of good quality with ample padding. There was no color bleeding. The fit was perfect for my oversized ironing board. The toggle on the fitting string made it very easy to get a good fit without much effort. I have used this cover over eight hours with my iron set on the cotton setting and a lot of steam. I quilt and use the larger area of the board that is why my board is backward in the picture.

I am a seamstress and these boards are a yearly purchase. This one caught me eye because it was brightly colored. The drawback is the way you secure it to the board. You pull a string to secure this-I'd rather it be elastic the just fits snugly. It's nice to the touch and it's padded well and it fit perfectly once I pulled and pulled-it fits perfectly on my board. I keep other pads on my board so I have plenty of padding already but this cover alone would be enough. It' made well and it looks nice and bright.

Finding an ironing board cover to fit my board wasn't easy. Stores don't seem to stock board covers for flat-nose boards. The VieveMar Premium Ironing Board Cover was just what I needed. I ordered two covers .. one for now and a spare. I love palm trees/banana leaves and was amazed that this pattern was available. Installing the cover wasn't difficult .. it took a few minutes. I bought a package of 4 under-the-board clips that help keep the cover tight, but haven't yet figured how to keep the pull string from dangling. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.
