I bought the wrong self-stick ruler. It measures mm and cm. I needed an Inch measuring tool. The paper on the ruler reminds me of thin painters tape. It sticks well without problems. The tape is clean looking and looks nice. I would recommend this ruler if you need mm's and cm's as your measuring tool. I had planned on using on my sewing table. I could always learn centimeters! I don't think so! 😊
