The contents of the box were well packaged with all components logically arranged and easily removed. All items were present and accounted for. I had to do a vertical assembly, in lieu of the floor mounted method as I didn't have the space on the floor to assemble it. The assembly went well, however, it was more difficult putting it together in the vertical position. I don't understand the purpose of the x bracing. It adds nothing to the overall strength of the unit. It was a pain in the neck to assemble and all I can recommend is do not overtighten the screws and lock washers as it will skew the unit in different directions warping the assembly, making it very difficult to put the shelves on. Leave the x part snug but not tightly on. After the shelves are screwed on, the unit is very sturdy. The unit has a nice look once finished and fills the space I have it installed very nicely.

This is a very nice shelf and was fairly easy to put together. The shelves are solid and think and the metal sides are fairly sturdy. It is a nice looking shelf.

I needed real wood shelves to hold lots of books.I am totally thrilled with the quality, the look and how easy it was to put together.

I hate cheap furniture. This piece does not feel cheap and is well made. It was easy to put together.

This bookcase was just what I was looking for- iron with wood. The wooden shelves are sturdy and heavier than I expected and it was a breeze to put together (<15 mins). My only complaint is where the black bars connect/ link to one another with screws- as you can see by the pic, the screws are visible from the front of the shelving unit, not on the side. The two pieces connect, but, not seamlessly. It's not noticeable to others, but it is when up close. If the screw was on the side and/or less noticeable, I'd love it even more. Since I'm the only one that will probably notice that part, it really is a great piece; I'd buy again if I need a second bookshelf.

This unit is very nice! Exactly what I needed for my home offic. The shelves are lightweight, but they look nice. The unit is sturdy and the top shelf holds a 32 inch tv.

Don't hesitate buying this item. I bought one and would easily buy many more if I needed them. Great piece. Looks good. Easy to assemble.
