Absolute great addition to your RPi 5
Great addition to my RPi 5. I plan to get more as I upgrade my cluster of Pi 4 to Pi 5. Reliable and works well. Installation is relatively easy, just be careful when handling the printed circuit flat ribbon cable that connects to the PCIe slot on the PI. This HAT fit perfectly on the PI and was low enough profile that I could place the PI and HAT in a 19" rack mount cage from UCTRONICS. So nice to have the speed and reliability of an NVMe for the PI.

Worked with minimal hassle
--- Experience with a competitive product ---I had originally tried using a GeekPi SSD hat and had all sorts of problems with it, even after ensuring I was using a RPi-compatible 2TB SSD and swapping/reseating the PCI flex cable on both ends several times. Sometimes I could get the SSD to work for short periods of time but it would inevitably fail.--- Experience with THIS product ---In contrast, this unit worked properly immediately after assembly. And unlike the GeekPi unit, it does not block any of the GPIO header pins, and is a bit smaller (does not cover the entire width of the RPi mainboard), which improves cooling performance. It came with all the standoffs, screws and other hardware needed to securely mount it. The only (minor) negative is that it did not come with a backup/replacement PCI flex cable like the GeekPi unit did, it only came with one that was already attached to the hat board.

Fast. Simple setup.
Speed and function was great for the small price. Easy to install, but it may or may not have bricked my pi 5 16gb. After a week or so it just stopped booting altogether. Didn't even try to boot, just a solid red light. Probably coincidence, but I can't find any info about what may have gone wrong.

RasPi5 NVMe hat works great
This hat works wonderfully. It was easy to install on my RasPi 5. It also fit perfectly. The standoffs were easy to mount. The SSD clipped right in like it should. I have not had any heat issues with this either. Just make sure that you have a case designed for the hat if you are using a case.

Maybe i just got a bad one?
Honestly a little disappointed, i love this hat, it worked wonderfully for 2 months but just crapped out on me bringing down my whole home assistant setup. this is my favorite form factor and includes the i/o lights which i also love and ive had great experiences with everything uniker that ive purchased in the past but this failing out of nowhere was definitely a downer. the device boots normally but shortly after acts as if i have ripped the hard drive out
