This is some of Roy's best .I used to play this album every night from 1962 till 1965 bad last year in the US Army and this album helped.Please play the song (mama) ?Good song.

I was so excited to see this CD finally available that I ordered it without even looking! Had I known it was on the Hallmark/Pickwick label, I would have passed. The mastering is subpar as usual on this label. Comparing the same tracks found on the three fantastic Monument Legacy CDs produced by Gregg Geller and master by Vic Anesini, these sound like a wet blanket was placed over my speakers.I bought this for the oft missing songs from other compliations: Mama, Love Star and Evergreen. My 1989 copy of Our Love Song even sounds MUCH better than the masters used by Hallmark. I first heard of Hallmark when I bought a couple of Elvis CDs by them, A Date With Elvis and For LP Fans Only, and it was apparent they must use inferior tapes.I am hoping the recent Japanese edition of Orbisongs does not disappoint.

I had this as a LP in the sixties and have never been able too replace it so you can imagine how I felt when I saw this in the list that Amazon sent it was a real pleasure to listen to it again
