Ankle protection is a must have
These are the only grip socks that have ankle cushioning on them , which gives me peace of mind while playing. The grip is super strong as well. Will definitely recommend to my teammates

New favorite soccer socks
The MediCaptain soccer socks are excellent and good value. These socks are non-slip and have grip pads on the bottom to prevent your feet from sliding around inside soccer shoes, giving you better traction and eliminating blisters from developing. The socks are thick and well made with good stitching. Additionally, these socks have another nice feature that other non-slip socks lack by providing a thicker padded area around the ankle which helps absorb impact when getting kicked. One thing that may be considered a negative is that these socks are one size fits all and if you have a larger size foot you may have more difficulty putting them on and making them fit. My foot size is 8-8.5 and I usually will avoid one size fits all socks because my previous experience is that socks will be loose fitting. However, these socks are tight, and they ended up fitting perfectly, especially after the first wash. The grip pads on the bottom are better than most, especially under the heel. The design of the socks also makes them look pretty good. And the cushioned ankle protection puts them over the top, especially in the price range. My new favorites, I recommend them!

Goodbye blisters
I’ve always struggled with soccer boots being too narrow, so I generally get an half size larger to compensate, causing my feet to slip around. Fixing one problem, but causing another. After playing in these socks consistently, my blisters and calluses were reduced to nearly nothing. Your foot just stays put. I’ve used these socks for a few months now in weekly matches, and they are still holding up well. Definitely worth the few extra dollars vs all the cheap, generic grip socks available out there.

Great nonslip socks!
My nephew plays a LOT of soccer, and he loves these socks, they're his favorite pair! First off, the look is very clean, minimalist and modern in black and white which is great (so they go with everything and don't clash with the team colors). The grip on them is amazing and means you're not sliding around in your shoes even with quick changes on the field, as you'd expect from non-slip socks. Really just a high-quality pair of socks, make sure to get at least a couple pairs so you have a clean pair handy!

Works
These socks are good and they help protect the ankles.. however the longevity of the grip on the bottom is yet to be determined. May not last too long based on 1st experience ( this is our second)

So Comfortable!
Super comfy and soft. They have enough compression without being uncomfortable or too tight. I like the grips at the bottom since I have slippery floors. 5/5

Great to have
I have vertigo problems, and walking around barefoot (which is best for me) is difficult when it gets cold. These are the perfect alternate. They hold tight to my feet, and the grip pads keep me from slipping.

Great, but challenging to get on...
As a player who's used TruSox and LUX Grip Socks, I've never had as much of a challenge getting those on, as I have with these MediCaptain socks. I'm a US men's size 10-10.5, and my cleats are Puma Future Z 1.3 FG, which have a small-ish elasticated sock as part of the cleat itself. With both the TruSox and the LUX socks, once the laces are loosened, I haven't and still don't have any issues sliding my feet into the cleats with a small amount of effort. I've never needed a shoehorn, or to dampen the socks, for instance. With the MediCaptain, it's a lot more of a struggle to get them on, even with the laces loosened completely. Part of this, I think, is down to the extra ankle/heel grips - the thick grip lines on the heel area do make it tough to slide into cleats that have the elasticated sock like the Puma's. Once the cleats are on, I also find that the socks have stretched, and the heel now has excess bunched material now outside of the cleat itself. You may have different results with a cleat that doesn't have the sock liner around the ankle. Once you start playing however, I've found the socks to be comfortable, have great grip (even though the grip is on the outside of the sock, unlike other brands that have grips on the outside and inside of the sock) and they tend to shape nicely to your foot after a few minutes, so you don't end up with that excess sock material causing an issue.
