I'm sooo glad I found this stuff! It makes it so much easier to dispose of cooking oil. It obviously has tons of other uses - cleaning up spills, vomit, etc, but I will more than likely just use it for oil. All you do is pour it in your grease and stir until it clumps up and toss! I love that it came in such a big bucket. It's going to last me a long time for sure.My only real complaint is that the lid is EXTREMELY hard to open. Other than that, it's great.

I do not like this stuff. Sure, the powder is decently absorbent but picking it up is SO much more of a hassle then just cleaning up some liquid. Waste of time and money.

I use this stuff in the garage any time I spill transmission fluid (inevitable if you are doing a torque converter replacement) or motor oil on the floor. Just sprinkle this on and leave it - later when you have time you can just sweep or vacuum it up and the stain and liquid goes with it. Works really well!

When the Spill Doctor pail arrived, I thought it was empty...literally. I cut the tabs to open the lid and be ready for a struggle. The lid to the pail is very sturdy and stiff and you will tear off flesh on your fingertips in order to pop it open. But also beware to open it with some control as the powder inside is very, very fine. It is light as a feather and looks like white sawdust. It will make a complete mess if you open the lid radically and recklessly. The absorbent powder works and took care of some minor spills in my garage, but to access it from the pail is a reason why I removed 2 stars.

Highly recommend for those "oh crap" moments. Spilled a bottle of mineral spirits in the garage and used this to clean it up, and the powder expanded to a fluffy, snow-like texture that was easy to sweep into a bin. a little went a long way too!

Additionally, I encountered issues with rainwater causing the powder to break down and form a sticky white paste that persisted after the initial application.One potential drawback is the lid's difficulty to open, which can make it frustrating if you're not prepared to apply extra force. Overall, this product demonstrates its strength in addressing fresh liquid spills but falls short when dealing with more established stains or adverse weather conditions.
