Wald139 Front Bicycle Basket

Close to three years after purchasing this well made basket, the bike this is on, the basket is still on their super solid. Has been used a lot for grocery runs, take out, various rides to parks, visiting others. This bike basket was put on about 3 yrs ago. Hasn't been taken off. It is still on solid. Made many great trips to beach or park with friends. There is still no rust. We keep this bike inside at night. A year ago it stayed covered for a year outside and not one issue.This bike basket is superior quality. The adjusting legs make it perfect to fit most bikes. The larger size of the basket makes it more practical to carry items in it.We cut a piece of cardboard the size of the bottom of the basket. That was smaller things don't fall through. We also just like doing that. We put beach bags in there, towels, soft food bag coolers or all of that in one cloth bag or duffel bag and bungee it down to hold it.

Great quality retro cool basket that’s still made here in the USA. Easy to install, quiet and stable while riding, big and strong enough to haul a case of beer 😎. Ticked all of my boxes and I love the look on my Electra Cruiser 1.

I had the older model of this basket and the famous Wald quality has served me well. When I bought a new bike I needed a front basket for it and naturally looked for the same one. To my pleasant surprise, the new model is nearly identical to the old except that the handlebar attachments are greatly improved.Since my bike has a front suspension the lower supports cannot be used, but I'm used to that. So, like my old bike, I had to use a little imagination and make my own. It works great.

Good basket but not very deep. Good enough for a beach towel and small items. In the future I'd buy a deeper basket. Also, when the basket is full the front of the bike is a lot heavier. It takes a little getting used to the extra weight on the front tire and handlebars.

Bought this without ever having seen one in the flesh. It's more solid than I was expecting (those struts are beefy) and mounting was a five minute job for me. Price is great. Very impressed.
