Angelus Acrylic Leather Paint-4oz.-Light Blue

Angelus angelus... Ok, I know they pretty much have a monopoly on leather paint. Thing is, they deserve it! Beautiful colors, amazing mixing, really nice results if you're carful to prepare the leather (don't buy 'leather preparer', basic nail polish remove from the 99cts store is exactly the same stuff), and to duct tape off the edges that you don't want to splash. (Sorry, Chanel shoes from the 80s that could have been so cool if it wasn't for the wobbly line across the toe...) One other thing - the trial size selection of about 12 different colors are exactly the same size as the normal individual paints in small. (2oz, i think?) You can get a great selection for about 20 bucks if you put a couple in you cart and what for Amazon to tell you they've found it cheaper. You get about 10 or 12. Don't pay $6 for one bottle. Or even 7 or 8 in some cases. But really, go for it. Leather painting isn't half as difficult as it looks. Sep with Angelus,

I only had to go through one of the bottles I bought for my project. Coverage was great and i only needed two coats to get what I wanted. It does tend to peel if you don't use the correct primer and sealant, but that wasn't an issue for me.

I had a pair of white leather sneakers that were scuffed in so many places. They looked filthy. No polish could cover them and there was no way to clean them. I used the Angelus white paint and put some of the blue into it. My sneakers are now like new. The two colors blended together make the color mixture of the sky with some light clouds. Many people have commented on the color of my sneakers. They all ask me where I bought them. These paints worked great. I have another pair of white sneakers and I plan to paint them, too.
