FHI HEAT Unbrush, Grey - Detangling Hair Brush

Got this after seeing it advertised on tv. Hoped it would help with reducing hair in my brush. I have short hair so it doesn't get knotted. I use once I have washed my hair and found it good for stimulating my scalp. As it is paddle brush shape, then doesn't work to style short hair. Think it works better for styling shoulder length or longer.

I’ve tried many brushes over the years and this might be one of the best I’ve used. I was skeptical at first, but it has become a staple for mem my toddler and my niece’s hair. What drew me in was its promise to be gentle yet effective on wet or dry hair. From day one, I noticed how soft the bristles feel on the scalp. There was no harsh snagging or pulling. I use it on my thin hair and it glides through easily even on tighter curls. I’ve also used it on my niece's thicker hair and it still detangled without too much fuss (just a few extra passes at times) One of my favorite things is that I can brush in large sections instead of dividing into tiny chunks like with other brushes. Whether hair is wet, damp, or dry, it doesn’t tug or pull, which means minimal shedding and breakage during brushing. For someone like me, with a tender scalp, it’s a big bonus that it doesn’t hurt. It does tend to feel lightweight or slightly flimsy at times, and I do worry about the bristles losing their form but so far that hasn’t happened. Lo he probado debajo de la ducha y me ha ido bien. Punto positivo: no me da tirones. Si no lo tuviera tan enredado no se me saldría tanto pelo y me funcionaría mejor.

I was very skeptical about this brush; I have 4b hair and have been using a Goody pick since 2002 and it's worked well. I used this brush to detangle my hair before washing it, and I was surprised at how easily it slipped through my ends. I sectioned my hair in twists and made sure it was wet beforehand, as some reviews mentioned it is not good on dry hair. The brush struggled to get through my roots, but I found using my fingers helped a bit. It snagged if I tried to detangle larger sections; it also snagged in the shower. Since one review mentioned they used the brush when shampooing, I thought I would try it - bad idea. I don't know why, but every time it went through my hair in the shower, it would snag and I'd hear snapping sounds, which was annoying considering I just trimmed my split ends. I guess for my hair, it does not work when it is completely drenched. Oh well. I will say that every time I have detangled my hair in the past, the sink always looked like a giant bird's nest afterwards. With this brush, I only got a handful of shedding. I did not believe the reviews that said they got much less shedding with this brush, but I am glad I was proven wrong. Overall, I would say this is a decent brush for the price. It does what I need it to do without losing a bunch of hair. I think it is over-hyped, but that is just my opinion. If you need a brush that will detangle type 4 hair without snagging (when wet), I'd say get this brush.
