The price I paid for this was a good deal less than I would pay for something similar at Spirit Halloween. So, I expected the same embarrassingly awful quality you would receive with every costume ever purchased at that place. Not the case!!! The fabric was decent. The stitch quality also decent. I hand washed it so I didn't itch and it survived that well. The leather goods were leather not plastic or awful vinyl. The fit of the shirt was as expected. The thing that weren't as great: The buttons were too big for the holes on the sleeves but you can cut the holes bigger or get new buttons or not button it because the bracers cover it. The leather is extremely stiff. The pants are baggier than expected. The brown color of the pants doesn't work well with the color of the leather. All of those are tiny complaints for the price I paid. Bottom line: It looks pretty damn good for a one time wear or rarely worn costume and cost very little.

This costume is amazing!! Well made, sturdy material. The arm braces and belt are very durable. The costume washed well & didn't shrink or unravel. We bought 2 sizes (xl & xxxl). The xl fit perfectly, the xxxl pants were too long & bunched up at the bottom. Pictured is my son, who dressed up as Hiccup from How To Train Your Dragon for Halloween. Please note, the belt he is wearing is not the one that comes with the costume - another member of our family wore it for their costume and said it was very comfortable.

This fit well but confusing to use, specifically the belt and wrist cuffs. No instructions so we had to rely on photos. The good: Cotton Linen fabric, comfortable and not abrasive at all. Good stitching. Fit was good based on size chart. Looks like normal clothing and not some cheap costume. Accessories are flexible leather and not cheap looking at all. The bad: Lacing up the wrist cuffs was simple but produced a gap as they went up the arm while the wrist area was tied closed. Maybe he wore the cuffs too low near his hand. but worth mentioning. The belt has no latch holes so it needs to be 'looped' around itself. This is where instructions would have been nice. We used the photos to figure out how to loop the belt around to fit snugly. This is a really good buy with solid parts. I would rate it a 4.5 but you can only rate in whole numbers so one star knocked off for lack of instructions for the accessories.

Was impressed by the quality of the product, stiching was nice and the quality of materials were great. The accessories are leather (sword not included). Shirt and pant sizing was spot on for me. I'm 5'8" 155lbs and ordered a medium. Pants were a little long. It looks really nice and I am excited to wear it soon!

It's a great all-inclusive starter kit if you want to fit into the renaissance theme on a budget. The sizes run large. I am a US large, but was swimming in this. I bought a medium later and it fit well. Either way, the pants are very long.

Bought this costume for the NY Renaissance Fair and was not disappointed with the quality. The material is linen-like and very comfortable. The gauntlets are surprisingly good quality and made of actual leather. I was expecting them to be more like the hard pleather ones you'd find at Spirit Halloween stores, but they are very decent quality. The belt is also very good quality. I combined the costume with a sword I bought at Spirit. I'm 5.9 and bought the small and fits very well, as you can see in the photo. Will definitely use this costume for next year's Ren fair and will add accessories to it. It's a great value and worth the purchase.

Nice costume for renaissance faire, fit perfectly. Im 6ft tall, 190lbs and M fit me well.

Got this for my son to wear to Ren Faire. He is 12 but a very tall 12. 5’9 about 140lbs. He usually wears a men’s small or medium so I opted for the medium. Pants fit good/true to size, but the shirt is way bigger than I expected. So be mindful if you’re in between sizes I should have got the small. For the money I think it’s a great value, but the material thickness and quality isn’t the best. It’s not costume thin though, and will be fine for Ren Faire. I can’t speak on durability yet, hopefully it holds up and doesn’t tear/rip easily. I will say I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the wrist cuffs, they are thick and seem durable! They smell/feel like real leather not that cheaply made plastic fake costume pleather. All in all a good buy for sure!
