Canyon Combo Charcoal and Gas Smoker & Grill, Black - 24203004

My husband has barbequed in our back yard for many years. He loves this new BBQ smoker and grill. He said it has worked perfectly for him. The food he has made on this grill has been so good. Christmas he will be using the smoker side, and we can all hardly wait for that. Putting it together was so easy he said. No problems at all.

Heavy-duty construction, easy assembly, used it several times now and works great. The combination of gass, charcoal and offset is very nice all packed into one. Smoker is nice but definitely needs the seals and latches on the doors that Oklahoma Joes offer for separate purchase, maybe something they should give with purchase 🤔 . All in very happy with this purchase

Needs 4 castor not 2. Lifting the one side by the out hanging shelf is a bad idea. Those welds are eventually going to break. Otherwise it is a decent cooker combo and already smoked some meat. Keep fire box vent wide open and smoke stack wide open. Use coal to provide heat and regulate the temperature that way. Top heat gage reads 10 degrees higher than surface cooking area far side away from heat and 5 degrees cooler closer to heat source. Its a half cooking area so the fire tending is frequent. Using wood chunks 6" long for better heat management and still get good smoke flavor but you have to watch your fire box more. Every 25 minutes or so. Good luck. I like it for home use. Works great. Keeping mind that Using both gas side and coal side increases heat and the gas side gets hot with just one burner on over 300 degrees due to its size.

This is a heavy duty grill that has become our favorite grill. We much prefer it to our treager pellet grill, more control and taste, plus it performs better and gives more even and hotter flame than our gas grill.

We have owned an Oklahoma Joe's combo, gas, charcoal, and smoker. We had it for 5 years and it was time to replace. The new Canyon combo grill was great until we used the smoker and the paint blistered and peeled off of the majority of the smoker box. There was no grease fire, just the fire from the charcoal and wood. Then we used the charcoal portion of the grill and the same thing happened. I spoke with their customer service department and they refuse to replace the grill. I forgot to mention that we have only had the grill for one month. I would not buy any of their products!!

Very pleased with my new Oklahoma Joe’s combo grill/smoker so far. Great sear, flavor and how quickly it heats up. Food cooks evenly with nice grill lines and flavors. Only gripe at this time would be cleaning out bottom of gas grill side, no removable tray just a drip pan. Assembly process was ok. This is a hefty grill, I expect years of cooking enjoyment.
