Bought in April this year, 6 weeks later, they became defective. The supplier got in touch with me and have offered me a replacement.Thank you supplier.I have to say that these scales are excellent and extremely sensitive. The jewellery platform is exceptional, which is vital for me, as I use this to measure essential oils.I am now looking forward to receiving my replacement and the use of these great scales.

Bought with a set of weights which suggested the scales measured perfectly initially. However, it wasn't long before the scale would turn itself off after an unreasonably short amount of time. Whilst I reluctantly started to note the figure dispayed before turning away from the unit, so that I could correct if the scale turned off, the scale display is now very weak, especially on the unit of measure. Even with lights off it is hard to see the unit of measure. Lasted for about three months, so I cannot recommend anybody wasting there money on these scales.Update: Rating upgraded to four stars. The visibility problem seemd to be low battery, so the supplied batteries had a very short lifespan. Vendor advised this may be the problem very quickly and offered a new unit, an offer which hopefully I will not now need to take up. Hopefully the problem with the scales turning off too quickly will also disappear with the new batteries.

The scale is really good and would be five stars, however, ours seems to be having an issue where it randomly turns off while you're using it. My partner has used it a few times where he's mid pour and the scale shuts off on him... It's still new, there's no indication of low battery, so it's odd... I also wish that the measurements on the two scales matched - meaning when you're weighing grams on one scale, the second scale is on a different weight value, so one will be on grams while the other is on pounds/ounces. That doesn't affect function but I could see if I needed to use both scales for the same weight it would be a bit of a pain. Overall not a bad product, just a few issues.
