Janome DC2013 Computerized Sewing Machine

It is a very good basic machine. I bought it to take to quilting classes. It is sturdy and has the features I need for piecing. I haven't tried quilting with it yet but probably won't as I have a Janome 7700 which I use for that purpose. It is an easy machine to use and I intend to teach my granddaughters how to sew and quilt on it.

I use my machine often since buying it here on Amazon almost 3 years ago, and it has wonderful features, along with plenty of decorative stitches I use when making aprons as gifts for people. I'm surprised there's not tons of reviews on this machine, because there truely should be. I did tons of research and leaned towards the Brother originally, before finally choosing this one, and I have no regrets! I plan to get my daughter the Magnolia eventually, since it will make it convenient to teach on a similar machine I can trust.
