HeadRush Prime
Had the original pedalboard, this one has nice updates. If you’re into this technology it is a great unit

This thing is GRRRRRRRRRREAT!!!
Not sure where the naysayers are coming from, this thing is AMAZING! if you’re looking for a processor with just a bunch of preloaded rigs ready to plug & play, this might not meet your expectations fresh out of the box. The presets are just fine to get started with, but if you’re looking for customized sound, then you’ll need to put the work in and ACTUALLY CUSTOMIZE THE RIG! And just let me say…HOLY MOLY!!!! Even if you connect to the Cloud and download free IRs (FREE), or rigs from HeadRush artists (FREE), you’ll get darn near ANYTHING you could ever want…or at least pretty close to it! Modify them from there!I haven’t had a chance to use the bass or vocal options yet, but so far I think my favorite features besides the COMPLETELY customizable and THICK tones are the practice and setlist functions. Super intuitive and simple. I can literally play an entire set in completely different genres, popping from rhythm to lead with single pedal clicks…completely changing my sound each time!I love it!

Killer board
So I’ve been using this product for a little over a year now and I think it’s important for me to come back and provide some insight for those of you that are looking into one or about to pull the trigger. To keep things simple, I would say go for it. There is a ton of stuff in this board! In fact, there is so much and so many capabilities that I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface. Do not be phased by all the other boards that are constantly coming out or throwing ads in your faces, because this one is just as capable, if not more capable than the rest.I have personally sat down and tried the quad cortex, the newer fender tone master, as well as the infamous helix, and I can honestly say that the headrush prime is right up there with all of them. In fact, after playing around with all the others, I’m still sold on the prime. The one thing that I think it outshines the rest in is the interface and touchscreen, although the lack of dedicated software for the computer interface might be the only downside. Believe me, all of us that already on the board have our fingers crossed that it comes out one of these days!Either way, every board out there has its pros and cons, but when the dust settles, I’ll still be rocking my headrush prime!

From analog to this - impressed!
Coming from all analog, this thing has blown my mind.I compared all the other competitors options and for all around usage, the Headrush Prime seemed to me to be the best.

Got my HR Prime yesterday…
So the the first thing you’ll notice is how truly massive it is. Coming from the Boss GT-1000, it’s kind of shocking how big and heavy it is. Not that that’s all bad - it does give you more space between switches - but I can’t imagine gigging it with more favorite pedals attached. Well maybe if you play on a lot of large stages…So far I’ve played through a bunch of presets plugged into my (much loved) Heardrush FRFR-108s. Some of the presets sounded okay, but most suffered from a massive overload of bass frequencies. So I figured a quick trip to the Global EQ would let me dial them out. Nope, the Global EQ is non-functional. After doing the 3.10 firmware update it’s still non- functional. So pre-beta functions on a production unit - ugh!So far the interface seems promising as well as a lot of the effects and models. I keep looking for a plate reverb, an intelligent harmonizer (with keys and modes) and some more modes. Hopefully they’ll follow in a few weeks…I’ll continue this review after having some more experience with the unit. In the meantime, you might want to wait on buying one.

Love it. The tones are improved!
I have the original Headrush and have used it for years. The new unit has stepped it up as far as tone. The new features are great but I am more impressed with the quality of the sounds. If you are a first time user there is a learning curve but it is not hard to use and playing around with it and experimenting is the fun part.

Wow
Still early in the going but the sounds, options and ease of use are incredible. Worth every penny.
