Gloss OLED!
If you're here then you should not need any more convincing. Screen is absolutely amazing. Just make sure you don't use Excel on it too often as you'll be disappointed.

Amazing screen coming back from nano IPS
Feedback after 130 hrs screen on time: 9/10 screen for the price (500£ on Black Friday) 1440p 240 Hz (180 Hz on a 10-bit colour over DP) Indiana Jones was the first game I tried it on (I was blown away with immersion especially in the caves of Vatican where you walk with torch) The vibrancy of colours is next level, tested games like Borderlands 3, Psychonauts 2, GTA Vice City Remastered, STALKER 2. Colours pop like crazy. My GF says she heard more compliments from me towards this monitor when I’m playing than she ever heard from me towards her 🥹. Did not experience OLED flickering, the only thing was dirty screen effect on a grayscale image at +80% (vertical lines across all the screen) could see this everywhere for the first couple of days. Eventually after couple of screen pixel clear cycles it all seem to disappear and is no longer an issue so don’t freak out when you turn your monitor for the first time. One minor downside is text clarity (slightly worse than on my old 1440p IPS screen, but not terrible at all, I find it OK to use). HDR in games on WIN10 is completely broken, the screen looks washed out in this mode and you loose saturated colours and brightness for some reason. I haven’t found the game yet that would look better in HDR than SDR. In fact SDR games now look almost like if they had HDR on this screen so I’m not really sure if I need it. There is no coming back to LCD after seeing this. You have to see it in person, pictures don’t do the justice.

MAJOR ISSUE WITH THIS PANEL
So, the image quality itself is like nothing else I’ve seen before on a gaming monitor. Used TN, VA and IPS panels and this was a massive upgrade over them all. Black are deep, colours are saturated and rich, the high refresh rate and instant response time makes everything feels really reactive to your controls. HOWEVER, after a few weeks of use, all of a sudden, one day after turning the PC and monitor on, the screen was retaining images. If i opened one tab, then the other it would retain the images of those tabs, it seems like this is a firmware issue that hasn’t been solved because… ASUS. I tried updating the monitor and I did but the problem comes back every now and then. The solution is to perform pixel cleaning 2,3 times but this should not happen on a monitor like this. Unfortunately I will be returning it, I’ve seen many other people with this problem on this panel and Asus doesn’t seem to bother.

ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG - OLED gaming at its finest
I’ve been using the ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMG ever since I got it yesterday, and I’m seriously impressed. The WOLED screen is absolutely gorgeous – the colours pop, and blacks are incredibly deep. The glossy finish is seriously out of this world - as long as you don't have a super bright light directly shining onto the screen or a window behind you then I'd definitely pick this up over a matte display any day. It’s perfect for gaming - 240Hz and 1440p which I prefer over 4k for higher framerates just makes this perfect for my use. The colour accuracy out of the box is also extremely accurate on my panel. The design is clean, with minimal bezels, and the adjustable stand is great for finding the perfect angle. If you’re looking for a top-tier monitor, this one’s hard to beat!

Absolute Beast!!!
I went from using a Samsung monitor from 2015, 1080p 60Hz to this absolute beast. The difference is impeccable. I highly recommend it if you want to game with a high quality image and even just for watching YouTube or movies. It looks absolutely incredible. Definitely a top of the line monitor for a pretty decent price. If you don't want to go all out on 4k, this is the next best thing 100%

Fantastic gaming and media consumption experience.
This monitor was a huge upgrade for me even going from my previous monitor which was a 27 inch 1440p 240hz IPS display. The contrast you get with OLED is just fantastic and has been a pleasure to use for competitive and story games. 27 inch (or 26.5) feels like the perfect size for me. The HDR experience you get on this monitor is very good as well. Pro's: Fantastic image quality Great motion clarity Great Colours and Colour accuracy Perfect blacks and perfect contrast High refresh rate Bright Screen for an OLED Great HDR experience Glossy Screen further enhances colours and clarity Great Stand Con's Potential Burn-in (In about 3 weeks of use and 231 hours on screen on time I have 0 burn in but will update if I notice any in the future) Text clarity in windows Firmware update only worked if I unplugged everything other than KBM. In conclusion I think this is a great monitor for anyone looking to upgrade from an older or even more recent LCD display primarily for watching movies or gaming. If you do a lot of work on text documents or spreadsheets I would maybe recommend keeping your LCD for work and then using your OLED for entertainment.

Super bright oled
Fantastic image once calibrated. It has the range to be so bright that it's uncomfortable to look at a Web page. I lowered the brightness to 60 with hdr calibration and looks fantastic. Only downsides are the stand isn't very tall. Had to make a wooden box for it to stand on to raise it up to eye level. Also the cable management isn't the best. Minor gripes as the image quality makes up for it

the sweet spot for gaming really is 1440p and 120hz++. This monitor is amazing. I cant really see the differrence in 4K vs 1440 but I can absolutly see just how amazing the image looks on this glossy OLED. I watched Tron - Ares on this monitor and all I can say is wow. The onscreen menu is simple and easy to use. The G-Sync with VRR worked out the box with my 5090. I had two minor problems with the monitor so far. I didnt use the included stand, I have my own vesa mount. And the included vesa mount attachment for the monitor was VERY difficult to get attached. I was hesitant to really press down hard to get this thing to click in becuase I didnt want to damage the monitor. I did get it in but it took way more force than I was comfortable giving. The second is that you will want to do a pixel cleaning out the box. It takes about 6 mins, but my monitor had a weird line accross the middle of the display. It was very noticable. I was worried my display was damaged in shipping but did the pixel cleaning and it went right away. Happy as I can be. The monitor is very bright in SDR. If you flip it to HDR the brightness falls a little bit but not bad. I have opeted to leave mine in SDR for the moment. My final thoughts are that this is a great monitor. With OLED finally coming down to the range of "normal" monitors its a real no brainer. If youre a gamer 4K makes little sense. Youre pushing your GPU so hard to fill those pixels and that costs you FPS. Just get the 1440p OLED and push have as many pixels to have those FPS soar and look at those games through a world class display. You wont be disappointed. In my picture you can see the OLED vs my old LCD. Both of those monitors are on and showing a black screen. \ 0.o /

Got it on sale for 2150 AED. Been using it for 6 months at max brightness with no regard for burn in (i.e, normal desktop use with tons of static elements). Have yet to see any sign of burn in or dead pixels. Will update this review if such occurs.
