ECHAIN Men Braided Woven Genuine Leather Belt Brown

I don't think I've ever written a review like this, and I'm not exaggerating. I just opened packaging around belt and had a very bad reaction to it. I've received a few items with unpleasant chemical odors before, but this one has made my head spin and tingle. I feel dizzy and nauseous. My nose and upper sinuses burn. My eyes are twitching and roof of my mouth feels like it's vibrating! It's like I've been exposed to something poisonous, at least for me.Nice looking belt, but honestly, I would like to know what chemicals were used! This is nothing near a leather smell. I had to leave the room while someone else took item outside. They later reboxed the belt for returning and agreed it needed to go. ADVISE THIS ITEM BE CHECKED OUT!P.S. It's taken about 30 minutes of breathing in fresh air for these effects to begin to ease. Seriously, this was a terrible reaction. I hope no one else experiences this.

I've only worn it a couple times but it is clearly better quality than the Dockers' brand I've bought in the past. I wear 34"-35" pants so I ordered the 34-36" length. What I received was 3" longer than I needed, so I followed the included instructions for unscrewing the belt from the buckle and it only took a few minutes to get a custom length using a screwdriver and strong pair of scissors. I would describe "Brown 2" as reddish-brown. I plan to order another one in black.

I was hoping for the best and was pleasantly rewarded. This is a pretty good quality belt, much more than I would have expected for the price. I got the brown, which turned out to be more of a brownish-orange, but I like the color. I have a 31" waist, so I followed some of the recommendations in the comments and ordered a size up (34"). It was too long, but the belt is made to be cut to length and I easily trimmed it down to the length I wanted. I went back and ordered a black one to go with and this time I ordered a 32".

I liked this belt and even bought a second but now this one is coming apart on the edges and I have had to cut off the frayed pieces as it comes apart. Too soon for this to happen. Won't be buying a third. UPDATE, I bought this belt April 20 2018 and threw it away today November 14 2020. Lasted around 1 1/2 years. Not good.

Looks great, real leather, and the cut-to-fit novelty is cool! The only caveat is that the size description is literal for waistline, whereas with most belt sizes, its perhaps understated. If the product lasts a suitable long time, you def have a new repeat customer - earned the way it used to be - with excellent products!

I love these types of belts since they easily adjust to any weight loss, or gain. However, I can't give this belt 5 Stars, as it wasn't the "Brown" color that I was expecting. Unlike the picture, the belt that I received is more like a Redwood Brown, which I actually like quite a lot.I wish all belts were designed like this. That way, you don't have a belt that is either too loose, too tight, or having to punch a extra hole into it.

December 2021 update: I bought this in February 2019 and wear it 2-3 times a week and it still works and looks great. I’m buying another color one today.Original review from 2/2019: Very nicely made and works well. Funny though, I ordered the 30” waist length but it would have easily fit a 36” and I had to shorten it immediately. The nice thing about this belt is the ability to move the buckle which will be nice when it stretches, as woven belts always do over time, and needs to be shortened.

GREAT belt! For the price point, this was an excellent purchase. I have been spending $60-$100 for belts of this quality. They were definitely overpriced. I am more than happy with this purchase, and plan to buy a black belt as well. The fact it is adjustable is another big plus. Totally satisfied!
