After trying to install this battery without the circuit board attached (bare wires only) I found it next to impossible for the average diy person without the skills needed to complete the battery install. The soldering of the 4 wires extremely close to each other requires skill and the proper equipment. Thus having the circuit board already attached is the only way to go.

Product was defective. Battery pack was warped. Board attached to battery was defective causing a popping noise from the left channel when the automated voice would activate. Also audible low volume static noises when the speaker was on, but not playing music. Returned product, credit was issued.

The battery seems to work well so far. I knocked off a star because the battery I got is not flat. It has a slight arc to it, resulting in the speaker not sitting completely flat.

Installed per Youtube instructions and guess what! It worked and my speaker is alive again. Very Happy.

Worked great at first but 5 days after the return period ended it stopped recharging.
