The light on this is fantastic, even at its lowest level. A good light was important for me. The battery life is good and appreciate that it's rechargeable. The magnifying glass itself is good too, and it's a good size. Of course the trade-off is that it's a bit heavier than others. I have used this with and without the light, lying it directly on top of small-print recipes and the magnification and light still work well. I also like that it came with a storage bag for when it's not in use to keep it clean.

It is a great product for people who struggle to read small print. It is larger than I thought it would be, so not great to carry in purse when shopping to read ingredients . But it not so large that you can't carry it with you. The light adjusts and the brightest is very helpful to see.

Nice lens. Bright light. Not bad weight. Easy to use. Button for light is way too easily activated. The light turns on with the slightest touch and can be on in the carry pouch, or drawer, desk, wherever, without being intentionally activated. That would run out the battery and or accidentally shine in your eyes.

If you’re looking for a magnifier, this is the one to buy. Very well made, with strong magnification. There are 3 different levels of lighting. What I didn’t expect was that the battery can be charged with its own usb cord. Awesome!!!

This is wonderful for me. It has made reading so much easier. It is a little heavy, but not really an issue. One reviewer, I believe mentioned the power is always on and the battery discharges quickly. I have found the battery lasts a good time. They thought the battery was/is draining even when not in use. However, the power button is sensitive to the extreme. A couple of times when I was putting it away, even in the pouch, I barely brushed the button and it turned on. My advice, store it in the box it comes in so you can’t accidentally turn it on without knowing. It is sturdy, portable, (I will use it when traveling), and it is a great value.

it's OK but has one major flaw. If you want to use it whilst writing it only caters for left-handed people.
