Bit of a pain to setup and re-crimp with the included pins and connectors but I get it, there is limited room inside that toolhead (stealthburner). as far as functionality goes, this board works fantastic and have not had any issues. Went through the Esoterical CANbus guide to setup a direct CAN host to my BTT Octopus - https://canbus.esoterical.online/ and it worked great just follow the directions very closely. Make sure to cut and crimp your toolhead fan and LED wires to exactly the size needed as there in no room in there for extra wires. Great Job BTT, nice board.

I have had no issues in the months that I've swapped to CANBUS on my V2.4. I've printed maybe 100 hours since upgrading and everything has been running flawlessly.

Though it sounds great to be able to swap out hotend types, sensor types without dismantling the bunch of cable tracks, it does take a great deal of configuring, and can be confusing if you don't understand how it all talks.Bigtreetech has a great manual which you should read first before tearing into this to know it will be an undertaking. Once you follow their great instructions it will be rewarding as it will be easy to manage upgrades in the future.It is a great kit, well documented, frustrating and fun

I added TAP, and a Canbus board to my Voron 2.4. The default Octopus 1.1 board I have read that the Canbus on the controller is not as stable as you could hope. This board paired with the EBB2240 board is a perfect match. I am running a pair of them and once I configured it I have had no issues after I made sure that the fan board did not short to the mylar sticker on the fan in the Stealthburner tool head. For set up instructions. Google Esoterical Canbus Guide for the best instructions on how to do this without driving your self crazy. The jump to can bus is the best upgrade I have made. No more surprise broken wires in the cable chains.

I don't know if I got a lemon but after getting this set up, the TMC2209 has overheated my LDO extruder motor consistently. Turning stealthchop off helped very minimally but the driver doesn't respect the run_current. Still overheats the motor with the current set to 0.1. Very unhappy with this board. Never had this issue using the 2209 on my octopus board so it's gotta be this can board that's the issue

I am currently trying to contact seller but no option anywhere. I am pleased and disappointed with this product, I have purchased everything needed to build a Stealthburner from Bigtreetech. After getting everything and starting to set and configure everything, it took me over a month to get everything working setup and configured to my liking. Then I noticed my part cooling fan doesn't want to turn on so I swapped it for a spare I had and still not working. I reinstalled everything without changing anything and still didn't work. After giving up on the fan I decide to start a print and now my hotend won't heat up. I changed the thermistor and the heat block and still nothing. I can't return the product because I'm passed the return policy. Hopefully the seller can read this and help me out.

These are the pi based version. And it has the 2.0 mm JST connections. So you can actually crimp your own cables.
