Felting is not something I have done and this set has everything you need to give it a try without purchasing a lot of expensive tools separately. To be honest, I am very crafty and after watching the video that is included with the purchase, I’m intimidated.The instructions say to take ann anppropriate amount. How much is that?!The color to grab is light yellowish brown, the bag I think it is doesn’t look to have enough for four cows. I’m not sure what to use. See photo.I should have started with ghosts not cute cows.

I am happy with the felting kit that I received. The supplies look just like the product photos and were what i was expecting. The wool is easy to pull apart from the rolls and stabbing it with the needles causes it to firm up as expected. I love cows and couldn't resist this kit. It is super cute and fun.I like the felting pad in the kit. Usually kits give you a piece of foam to use as a working pad, but this kit gives a fabric pad. It is a good size and easy to work with.

This kit really does come with everything including a really nice instruction book and videos you can watch. Felting isn’t as easy as it looks, and the needles are sharp so I’d suggest it for teens and adults. If you’ve never done it before it’s a little hard to understand and even how to put the needle in the wooden handle but this kit shows you how. The felt pad it comes with is thicker then other kits I’ve gotten so really protect the table you’re working on. Fuzzy coos as they call them in Scotland are really cute and each cow has a different hardness rating so you can work your way up. It’s a nice way to spend an afternoon inside.

This is such a fun way to learn needle felting. It comes with everything you need, has clear instructions and you can complete several projects to decide if this is a hobby you want to pursue further. I am familiar with working with wool and fiber and the quality of materials is appropriate for the project. I am so excited to add these adorable little felted cows to my craft room.

I have color deficiency... also known as being colorblind. The wool all look very similar and I really wish they would have labelled the bags! Just like "use wool A for this and B for this" would be helpful (labelling one bag 'A' and the directions saying to use wool A for the body).That being said, the directions aren't super clear and it's basically required you use the video tutorial. I hate that.

This is going to be so cute! The kit has everything you need to make these adorable little Highland cattle. I have never done felting before and always wanted to try it. This kit makes that possible without a huge investment. It comes with instructions and a color picture on the box to go by. I don't know how I will do with it, but I am excited to try.
