This review is for GlaykoTm 50 Feet Expandable Garden Hose item B07B9QVQ24. This is my 4th expandable hose. I like them as they are much lighter than your regular rubber hose and hence much easier to move them around to wash car, or water plants. I like the fact that it comes with a carrying bag. It is kink free, the best feature I like. Cons for flexible hose: it is better to store them indoor as extreme temperature will ruin it / under shaded area. Don't step on it when water is running through it, as the spike in water pressure may burst the inside tube. I ruined one before. It is not designed to have it hook up to your water source and turn it on from water tap and just stop water from the hose valve(I would only suggest to do it for short period of time and turn off your water source when you are done with the hose). I ruined the second hose that way (which only offered 50-80 PSI). This hose can handle 115 PSI. I have another flexible hose in the garage and need one in the back yard for watering my plants. I keep it behind bushes. It is better not to drag it on concrete alot as it may ruin the outside jacket. Hopefully, you find all the tips helpful to give your hose a longer life cycle.

High quality portable hose
This hose works best with a nozzle or other attachment that restricts the flow of water through the hose thus allowing it to remain pressurized and extended. It’s important to understand that this hose is not designed to allow water to flow through it unrestricted, as the hose will not pressurize and will therefore not extend in length. Used with a nozzle as intended, this hose does work well. The portability of this light-weight hose makes it an ideal choice for use with any type of recreational vehicle in which storage space is often limited. Comes with a 1-year warranty. The included integrated shut off valve and storage bag are definitely useful.

Well worth the money
I love this product. I bought a 75 foot one last winter for our Florida place, liked it so much that I bought another when we got back north for the summer. It is just as wonderful as the first one, but we decided we could use a bit more length here, so we ordered a 100 foot hose. This one is black instead of green and may be a bit sturdier than the shorter ones -- which is not to say that the shorter green ones are not very durable -- they are. The brass rather than plastic is great, the free nozzle is a good one, and the fabric withstands sun and rough landscape obstacles with no problem. I continue to be amazed that this little lightweight hose stretches to reach every corner of my yard and then shrinks back up neatly to fit into a small crock by the spigot! We've had cheaper versions of so-called pocket hoses before, but they have never lasted very long, usually expiring with a great wet explosion. These seem like they will give us years of use.

This expandable hose is the best. My garden is across my yard from my water. So having a hose that stretches worked perfect. I like that is is so easy to roll up and store because it’s long but when you aren’t stretching it it isn’t that long. I also like that it isn’t all rubber. I have gone through so many hoses because they try out, are in the sun and then crack or then get cut on a rock or something. This one is going to last me aLong time. Love it! Good for gardeners or people who need to water plants.

Nice compact hose
I was so surprised when this came in the mail. It was in an 11x14 envelope and was very light. I thought "This can't be the hose??" But it was. It's about 17' long before water expansion. Solid brass fittings and a solid brass shut off valve. Seems like good quality construction. Hooked up easily and didn't leak. Comes with a nice storage bag for when it's not in use. This beats the heck out of the 50"regular hose I keep tripping over in my basement.

Great ar first then fell apart and unusable. No response from Mfg
I purchased 3 - 100ft hoses. The were very lightweightand easy to move around, which was perfect for me. To my dismay two of the three houses developed basically cracks along the hose. In one area there is a hole about 8" wide. All told I spent over $100 on these hoses. They are still under warranty, and I have emailed the manufacturer. No response. At this point I cannot recommend purchasing this hose. I'm hoping the manufacturer lives up to their warranty. If I do not hear back in the next few days I will contact Amaxon to ask them to assist.

Very compact with nice fittings
I bought this to use with my rain barrel to water our herb garden. The hose is very compact and has nice heavy fittings on both ends. It connected very easy and the turn off valve worked flawlessly with no leaking. Only downside is it looks like a very large black snake and it will scare the crap out of the unsuspecting 😊. Great hose for the purpose I purchased.

So Far So Good.
I'm giving it five stars but I know some of the knocks on expandable hoses concern durability and I just got my first two, so I can't really speak to the durability. However, just as a first impression, I am well pleased. After dragging heavy wet hoses around the yard this was a welcome relief. A 75ft hose you can hold in one hand and weighs very little. It would weigh even less but it does have some well made brass fittings on the ends. I think they will require a little more care than the old vinyl and rubber hoses but if they hold up it will be worth the effort. I promptly ordered a 50ft one also.
