6 in1 Trauma Shear ssuit,Emergency Shears with Strap Cutter and Glass Breaker Stainless Steel

I’m a new ER tech and everyone said I needed a pair of trauma scissors. Thankfully these were a good price (especially since they are the fold up kind). So far I’ve used it mostly on cardboard and loose thread on my scrubs. But apparently my coworker Jackie (ER tech for 5 years) has the same ones from y’all and she’s on her second set cause one of the drs stole her first pair. She raved about them a bunch before we realized we got the same ones. So if that isn’t a great review idk what is.

Compact for easy carry in the pocket or car but for the occasional user is somewhat complicated to unfold and use in an emergency situation....if you ever needed the belt cutter in a panicky emergency you would have difficulty opening and using the curved belt cutter....In a more relaxed setting the scissors unfold and lock nicely and the cutting edges are adequate....the glass breaker is small and pinpoint and the light weight of the tool is not that conducive to the mass required to break glass quickly and would likely take many hammer blows.

Comes in a small cardboard box with a tool to tighten screws. High quality fit and finish was perfect with no sharp bits to get caught on or manufacturing defects.Scissors are very sharp right out of the box and was easily able to cut paracord and fishing braid with no effort.Hook portion of the shears, shows a noticeable difference compared to the original and doesn't have a lock bar holding it open when deployed, hook is also not as sharp as the original and required more force to get it to grab and cut.Handles were a bit loose but was an easy fix with the included tool I suggest playing with the tightness of the scissors as they were too tight from the start.Highly recommend this, Almost as good as the original at a fraction of the cost another upside is if you ever do lose it your not going to cry over it.
